I personally just started getting into programming and coding after years of dabbling with HTML/CSS. I am really
loving it already. I would love to learn what programs people have used or prefer to use, what programs not to use,
what you've built! Share anything! I am hoping that I can become proficient enough to code my own website project.

Coding has changed my life.

By learning to code 90% through free resources online, I was able to land my dream job of helping to create video games professionally. I work as a technical artist, and I cannot imagine more satisfying work for me. The best part of this kind of work I think is the constant problem solving and the sense of accomplishment and pride when I see a tool, node, etc. working well for the character modeling team and animation. It really requires you to use your brain and in the best way!

I started with Python, and I would totally recommend that to anyone getting into code. It's easy to read, works (relatively) simply, and it is SO useful. You can check out YouTube and Vimeo tutorials as well as utilizing sites like stackoverflow and geeksforgeeks for learning resources

I love programming !! My first language was JS which was a huge mistake.... I now know multiple langs now and I'm working on a big project on C# / Unity so I've been occupied with that too ^

I don't know any programming languages but I can build a website with HTML and CSS, if that counts for anything.

I have been programming since I was about seven or eight. I started out on Scratch and largely abandoned programming until I graduated high school and started thinking seriously about making my own video game. I am learning GodotScript, which is pretty easy to read and break down-- plus, the Godot engine is free!

HTML isn't a programming language per se, but I have used it to create my website, Noctivagant, based on a layout by Sadgrl over on Neocities. Super cool process.

I want to! I got very interested in it when I was younger and started on scratch lol, and actually took the time since I was super motivated to learn html and css. Unfortunately due to decline in motivation and stuff, I stopped learning it at some point. I'm interested in learning again though and will be going to college for computer programming. Specifically C# and python are the main two I'd like to learn.
