Hi hello!

So... I am into keyboards. I love dedicating my time to research the components that go into a mechanical keyboard, and of course, building them c: Needless to say, I am a keyboard enthusiast, so I decided to create a thread dedicated to mechanical keyboards!
I am currently using my first build to type this as we speak O-O

I was wondering if there were other keep enthusiasts out here! What board are you currently using? And what are the specs? It doesn't matter if it's a prebuilt, custom, or even a membrane keeb! All keyboards are perfect the way they are; what I love about this hobby is that it is simply based on your preferences, and you can build a keyboard to your liking :>

so my first ever keyboard (which is a prebuilt) is the rk61 w blue switches- a lot of people tend to not like blue switches for their loudness but i was still fairly new into keyboards at that time so i didn't really knew much. but the more i spent time researching, i developed my preferences (linear gang btw) and yeah c: $250 and im here using a keyboard that i love to the max

once my friend and i get our own apartment in a few months (for now we're in a uni dorm) im def buying a monitor and mechanical keyboard and then just connect my laptop to it since im too broke for a pc now

id probably go with a pre-built one first, and then make a custom one later on

aaa that sounds awesome :> i have a monitor hooked up to my laptop because im too broke to buy a PC LOL
