Looking to get a little debating out of your system?
You've come to the right place. Welcome to the CS Debate Thread! Here you can propose your own small debates and join into others to give your two cents. Just make sure to read the rules and check out the links below before posting.
Rules
+Keep the debates appropriate.
+Use your manners. Name-calling and personal attacks will not be tolerated.
+Always acknowledge that there are multiple sides to every issue, and be as open-minded as possible. Plugging our ears and shouting at each other doesn't make for a good debate.
+Don't be offended or upset if someone disagrees with you. This is, after all, a debate thread. None of this is meant to be taken personally.
Looking to get a lot of debating out of your system?
This thread is a general debates thread, but if there is already a thread for a topic, please bring any related debates there. This is applicable mostly to more serious or controversial topics. Listed below are some of the existing debate/discussion threads. Be warned that many of these links will bring you to the Adults Chat 18+ forum. Feel free to PM me any links I might have left out, these were found with just a quick search of the forums.
>Evolution and Creationism and Life
>Religion - Discuss your Beliefs, ask Questions to Others
>Homosexuals and Gay Rights
>Does Age Matter [When Dating]?
>What age should kids *be allowed to* wear makeup?
>The death penalty: Your opinion
>What age is it appropriate for children to be pierced [or tattooed]?
>Homeschool vs. Public School
>Do You Believe in the Paranormal?
>2012 US Presidential Election
As I said, this is just a short list compiled from a quick scan of the forums. The search function is always useful if you want to make sure there isn't already a topic for something, and don't hesitate to message me any links you think I should add.
Thank you for reading, and debate away!

You report the post for the mods to deal with.
I don't think people should be doing Moderator work.

Problem is the one that made it start it was a misunderstanding, and was solved and didn't become a fight and all before the strikes were even there.

I am working on getting some of the pets, especially horses, that I have missed.

Well, it's the mod's job to reprehend any rule breakers. Yes, maybe there are too many posts and it's difficult to look at them all, but being a mod is a pretty though job. I've been a mod before and it was incredibly tiring but usually quite rewarding as well.
Nonetheless, the rules that are in place for the CS forums in general should be all that is needed to keep every topic going. As I've said before, I've been lurking on the 'things that annoy' you thread for a while and I've never seen a real fight break out. It's mostly people not being able to handle having their opinions or beliefs challenged. That is not breaking any of CS's rules as long as they are not plainly rude about it, I believe.
