Are you a fan of classic literature? Becuase I am

    book title: 1984
    book’s author: George Orwell
why you like it: Its a wonderful commentary on what can happen if we give the government too much power. Its particularly powerful with the political situation in America and the limited/fake news (I highly recommend reading Animal Farm before reading 1984, because you can see the evolution of Orwell's ideas)

book title: Call of the Wild
    book’s author: Jack London
why you like it: Honestly, I can't tell you why other than its really good. The book follows a domestic dog who kidnapped and taken to Alaska to work as a sled dog during the Yukon Gold Rush. The book explores the relationship between man and dog and dog and the wild. It's my favorite book !!

    book title: The Handmaiden's Tale
    book’s author: Marget Atwood
why you like it: Did I mention I liked social commentary ???? The book takes place in a dystopian future where women are only valued as long as their ovaries are functional. It has the commentary you expect and more

book title: Everyday
book’s author: David Levithan
why you like it: It's about someone who wakes up in the body of someone new. They're somewhat of a spirit who call themselves 'A'. They don't know why this happens. Everyday, they wake up as someone different and live their life for the day. They never live another persons life again. It's also very inclusive to the LGBT+ community.

book title: The book thief
book’s author: Markus Zusak
why you like it: It's a historically accurate book about germany during the holocaust/world war 2. It follows the life of a little girl who is sent to live with foster parents. Her parents end up sheltering a jewish man in their basement. It's interesting to see the world through the perspective of a little girl in my opinion.

book title: Leviathan
book’s author: Scott Westerfeld
why you like it: It's a spin of world war 1. An alternative universe. Its Clankers (People who rely on machinery) vs. Darwinists (people who rely on animals). A clanker prince of Austria-Hungrey looses his parents, and has to escape elsewhere to avoid being killed with two of his servants. He ends up getting captured by Darwinists. Then theres a Dawinist named Deryn who is a female in disguise to fight in the war. She cross dresses like a man named Dylan in order to join the military. I like it because I love historical fiction and stuff like it. I love the idea of two huge and opposite groups fighting each other, too.

i you've never tried the Redwall they are about a religious order of anthropomorphic animals who are very scrappy and resourceful but detest war and usually follow the adventures of 2- 3 of their order who try to defend the order from attacker

as well as The Wings Of Fire series by Tui Sutherland she worked on some of Warriors books by Erin Hunter if you have ever read those but her own writing style is very good and unique her story is about 5 baby dragons who prophesied to stop the war going on that will destroy the continent, they have to survive assassins and the wilderness where everyone and everything wants to kill them

book title: John Cleaver Series

book’s author: Dan Wells

why you like it: It starts out with nothing supernatural going on and it follows a kid who is a sociopath, his mother and her twin sister who own a funeral home, and his therapist. Somebody is killing people and John thinks that a serial killer moved to the town but every murder has a black sludge and they are always missing one body part (external or internal). He grows suspicious of his elderly neighbor and starts to stalk and harass him. I cant really explain any of the others in the series because that would spoil everything in the first book but the rest are amazing too. It does have some things that people might not like, including animal abuse, torture, kidnapping, murder, and (sorta) cannibalism. But it is a really good crime/supernatural thriller!!!!!

and if you like classics then pretty much anything by jane austen and jules verne (bought both of the B&N leatherbounds that are p expensive just because of how much i love both of these authors lol)
