I noticed many users asking about how or when to bump their topics, so i hope it's allowed for me to explain. c:
It goes pretty easy:
When you have a topic, that you want to bump, but don't want to post, you can see this button at the bottom of the page:

Here is the link if you can't see it here.
You simply click on that button and then go to your posts. See?:

Here is a bit of explanation. Thank you Atwood, i hope you don't mind me posting this. c:
Atwood wrote:There's no specific limit to how many times a thread can be bumped in a day, but you should only bump your thread once it's off the first page or two of the board it's in, which usually takes at least 15 to 20 minutes and in some boards much longer. :3
Regarding bumping other people's threads, it's best to only do it if they have specifically asked for bumps (e.g. "Please bump this!") and the thread still appears to be relatively active. If no one has posted in a thread for many months, bumping it is called 'gravedigging' or 'necroing' because it's bringing a 'dead' thread back to life when it should have been left buried. ;3 Most people don't appreciate gravedigging, usually including the thread's owner, and often the thread has gone with no posts because the owner is no longer using it and left it to autodelete. Bumping those just means a mod has to go in, lock the thread to keep others from posting and delete the bump post so the thread falls back down the board again. Just pointing this out because people sometimes, meaning to be nice, go and bump a ton of ancient threads, thus unintentionally causing a lot of annoyance for the forum-goers and extra work for us. ^^;
I hope this helped, ask me if you have more questions. ;3
