I'm in the Advanced Band at my school. I play the flute.^^ I'm like an epic band geek. XD Most of my iPod is full of movie scores and the like. I hope to play in my high school's competing marching band next year in ninth grade. It's totally awesome.

I'm not advanced, but I love to play my clarinet. (High notes get me every time >_< )
I like concert band better though, it's calmer with more songs and not as complicated. Hopefully band camp will help me with marching though. We go in August and I'm pretty excited cause after that I can truly say "One time, at band camp..."

Same here! XD I have to go to band camp this August too. Every day. That takes up like half of my summer. Dang. Right now though I'm in concert band (which is the only option at my school), we're learning the score to the movie Hook. It's soooo complicated! D8

Cool! Where are you playing there?^^ My concert band has done this workshop over at Disneyland where you go backstage to re-record a movie score. We actually were going to play onstage however the weather was awful and we got canceled at the last minute. )8 Apparently the marching band in the high school I'm going to auditions to play onstage as well and play before the parade or something.

Even though i'm not in band anymore, i'm still a band geek at heart.
I played and still do play the clarinet. I love listening to musi by ear and figuring out the notes,I was never that great at reading them XD.

When i was in band I was of the top three in my class,and our band did go to Disney World while i was in there. Reason for my quitting is so i could put more time in school and my art. But i love playing my clarinet and piano together, any song i know on my piano i'll convert to my clarinet and vise-versa.

I'm an uber banddork, though I've graduated and no longer have band classes. :3

I've been playing the flute since sixth grade, and I've been in the most advanced band in both middle and high schools for all but two of those years. xD I marched competitively and played in the Pep Band for four years. Extremely fun. :)

And I'm good at playing by ear, too, Sweet Fur. I've learned to play several Linkin Park songs that way, haha.

I think we all know by now just how much of a band geek I am. xD I play flute and piccolo, I made it into honors band (for me, it doesn't start 'till next year), and I'm considering music as a career option. Somehow I play piccolo in nearly every ensemble I've joined this year, and I managed to get a piccolo solo at the all-county ensemble.

My goal is to try out for the NY all-state ensemble next year, and of course to make it in. c:

In short, outside of CS, I don't have much of a life other than music. XD
