I liked Avatar. XD But I'm not going to rant about that. But the plot was predictable I guess...But it was still a good movie.

Anyway, I have more things that I hate:

How Avatar has the simplest and most predictable plot ever but everyone is saying it's great just because of special effects. "I see you." - The script is awful! I can't imagine what my AP Language teacher would say if I turned in a story like that. "Okay, you can see them, but what do you think about them?" There's a reason people say "love" - because you're telling that person you can see who they really are, AND you're telling them that you love it.

Christopher Nolan over James Cameron anytime. <3 He doesn't rely on special effects to make a great movie.

Hmm, well I liked the graphics, even though the plot was very predictable. The script was ok, not anything great though. But it was indeed very pretty. Kinda like a scenic ride. Yeah, that's what I liked.
Predictable plot and just a passable script.

I liked it because of the messages, not the the special effects.

My opinion on Avatar was while it had wonderful graphics & concepts, if it had've just been a little more original on the plot, it might have been better. It was literally the same thing as Dances with Wolves (we saw that in history X3), except more modern.

But that doesn't stop it from being awesome XD I love the little jelly-fish-like spore thingies :3
