Today's my birthday. I slept over my friends house last night (even though I didn't want to) because my dad had work today. My friend was rude (besides throwing me a birthday party on animal jam, which she borrowed my yellow sweets for and never gave back) most of the time, and I just wanted to go home. It's 7:30 pm and my dad and I just got home. Now he's busy cooking supper. I'm pretty upset. This day didn't go how I wanted it to.

Plus, I had five dollars in my cellphone case and I think my friend stole it.

I'm supposed to stay awake for when my brother comes over, but I just had a stressful day at school... I want to sleep, so hurry up and get here already.

when people claim that what's going on in ferguson has nothing to do with race (i.e. not exclusively police brutality) it bugs me to no end; it is absolutely clear that this cop did what he did out of racial profiling and it's disgusting.

at this point, it's been clear for a while that it would have been impossible (for several reasons) for mike brown to have robbed the store, and it's widely accepted that he was unarmed. this was a kid who didn't join the football team because he didn't want to tackle people. the fact that people are taking the side of the cop is incredibly awful and nasty, in my opinion (and, i'm sorry, but if you're still taking the cop's side after all the info that's out now, you're racist).
