Things that annoy you.

I can't pay either, to get the store pets. Only my friend can, and then I have to trade tons...
I'm going to quit if CS becomes Neopets or Wajas.
And monthly! Nuh-uh, CS is slowly turning into one of those pay to play sites.
And then the people who do have Cs$ will suddenly have all these rares from the people who can't pay. So like, even if you are a total n00b, you have like tons and tons of Julys from people who can't pay.

Right. It's not fair at all. If this site becomes pay-to-play, about three quarters of the users wouldn't be able to do it, I bet.

Honestly, I don't think too many people with extra store pets have been getting Julys. A lot of the older members with extra Very Rare 2008 pets believe the stores pets aren't worth them. I definitely haven't gotten any Julys.

I don't think CS will turn into a "pay to play" site because the store is there only to help pay for the server. If it was there to give Tess and Nick profits, that's when we should be worried. I share you guys' concerns, but for now I think we shouldn't get too worked up over this, especially if it turns out that only one or two new store pets are released per month.

You're probably right. I'm just worried, ya know.... I've watched a perfectly awesome site like this go from completely pay-free to owners-getting-profit to pay-to-play, basically. I don't want it to happen here, I certainly hope it won't ever do that.

I agree with Lynx7. Back ages ago, I remember when you didn't need to pay for neopets and the whole site format was totally different. It was much better then.

Yeah, I will wait with my flaming for a couple of month, but if they release a litter of 4-5 dogs per month then I'll sure complain XD And if they then release the "PPS-potion" they talked about, I'm out of here DX Monthly store dogs and PPS potion will TOTALLY ruin CS for me.

I think the thing that worries me most is that those pets are only going to be up for a month and because only a certain amount of people are going to get them, the supply is going to be very, very limited.

Running this site isn't cheap, and they have to think of ways to continuously raise the money to pay for it. Releasing monthly store dogs will mean that there will be more money, which is good for everybody on the site.

Or maybe it meant one pet for February but not necessarily for the other months. Either way, though, that's not bad.
