- Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't evolution when one species evolves into another eg. fish to frogs, not when new breeds are created. Technically new breeds aren't even "created" by humans a mutation is discovered and then purposely bred with others of that species to create a new breed. New breeds don't just happen on their own.

- I agree with this statement. You could argue they came from the big bang, but where did the big bang theory's original ball of mass ( I'm sorry I don't know the name of it) come from?

You could say that..but then again there are people who think humans and other species just 'poof' got here. I would think there's a few more theories to talk about with the creation of bacteria than multicellular organisms just popping up. But that's just my opinion, though I respect and understand where you're coming from as we'll. :3

Why isn't there a poll for this? I would love to be able to just place my vote without joining this conversation that led to religion and revolution and well....a bunch of other things I don't feel like discussing.

And I guess I'll be the girl to change the scientific world c:
This has been tried numerous, numerous times. Every single time results in the person in question being laughed out of any respectable facility. After that happens, it'll be pretty much impossible to get a job at any sort of science based zoology job, if they have heard about that.
Just figured I'd warn you before you spend the money on pursuing a zoology major and then not being able to do anything with it. (Though I can't imagine someone getting through that program and still being a creationist in the first place.) My zoology 101 class had like a 3 week section on evolution and natural selection/etc.

Alright, I know, how evolution works. And I said alot of animals probably came from bacteria. Not all of them. However now I'm not so sure any of them came from them because bacteria is made up of prokaryotic cells which have no nucleus. And we are all made up of eukaryotic cells that have nucleus. And I just don't think prokaryotic cells can just produce eukaryotic cells. I havn't gotten that far in Biology so I don't really know but it doesn't make sense to me. And yes I'm saying God created the very first life. I'm saying he created the humans, the wolves, the bears, the dinasaurs, the birds. And I'm saying that they probably DID evolutionize to adapt to their habitat. However not the humans. I believe that we stayed the same from day 1 except in our way of thinking. So no I do not think humans came from monkeys or apes someone said. And I never will believe that, because to me that is just a bunch of bull.
I never said belief made it true either. I know the definition of belief and I'm saying that is what us Christians believe. That God created the Chicken either by sticking it here on the Earth or giving us the ability to make the Chicken. I don't need proof or anything because it is just what I believe and nothing is going to change that. End of story.
Not to belittle or challenge your beliefs, but does that mean you deny neanderthals existed despite evidence such as skeletons which prove both that we have developed from them and that they developed from ape-like organisms? (by i.e. comparing DNA structure or whatever) It would be logical to assume that this would be evidence enough to prove that we evolved from apes.
Yeup, it does mean I deny it.
You deny stone cold evidence? I think you're likely to have trouble pursuing a career in science if you don't accept what we base our theories on. But then it's a Christian thing to believe humans are superior to all other organisms and that they're special in that they were 'created' and didn't evolve like every other animal. I guess it's a belief and I can grant people something as simple as that. It just seems a bit odd to insist something is correct despite a complete and utter lack of evidence and deny something else is correct when there is plentiful.
How do you explain neanderthal skeletons and the fact that their DNA is similar to both humans and apes, then? Do you just dismiss them as fake? I don't get how you can just say evidence like that doesn't prove we evolved.

Well in Copernicus' time everyone believed in a geocentric view of the universe. When he told his theory he was shunned, laughed at, and ridiculed. But in the end it turns out the "underdog" theory that many thought was ridiculous was actually right. I'm not trying to ridicule what you believe in I'm saying just because many people think something is true doesn't mean it is true. And the "facts" can prove different things depending on how you look at them.
