I just need some help here... I like someone that apparently everyone hates cause "Oh but he's so annoying" is the most commonly heard one. I do like him though for his nice, laid back side of him that apparently many don't even think of. I sort of regret telling anyone even my best friends I like him. I met a boy last April in an institute who made me smile for the first time in months. Over the eight days I was there, he became my best friend, my brother. He never saw me with makeup on or my hair all dolled up, just the real me. After we both got out, we painfully parted ways for a while until I got an email on my school account this September, with no subject, from my best friend from the institute. He'd been looking for me for over four months. Because I've been grounded since I was in the institute, the only way I could contact him was through my Hotmail on my school laptop after school, and for two months, that's what we've been doing. We've grown so much closer this month, especially when a friend of mine turned on me and sent me harassing messages for two weeks because he was paying more attention to me than her.
About two weeks ago, we were talking and joking like usual, but after I got back from a shower, he sent me a message saying that I'm all that keeps him going and that he can't stop thinking about me and that I mean more to him than anything. There's no way he would joke about something like that. I was totally stunned and kind of just shuffled away from the subject and made an excuse to go to bed early. Every morning, he sends me a message saying he loves me and that he hopes I have a wonderful day and over the last two weeks, his romantic side has really come out and I've fallen for my own best friend fast.
We're acting like a couple now, even though I'm not really sure whether we are one or not. He said we don't have to decide right now, but I'm just so afraid of losing my best friend that I don't even know if I should be his sister or lover anymore. I've been hurt so much by guys, I just don't want this to go wrong. I'm so confused and torn right now.

okay, so just like an hour ago on fbook, my crush told me he loved me. I mean, I knew he liked me and stuff, and I like him too, a lot. I got really nervous and excited but tomorrow is my thanksgiving lunch at school, and he said he'd sit by me. i'm nervous because my mom is coming that she'll emberass me. anyways, that's not my real problem- "S" told me a secret that I can't say on here and I just don't know if I should still like him, but I do. it's really baddddd, but.. what can I say, I like bad guys. :\ anyways.. he said he'd hug me when I had to leave at car riders tomorrow and that he'd hang out with me. i'm just so nervous, and usually when we hang out I get nervous and don't talk alot. what should I do to open up more? and we're only in middle school, but he says he loves me! what do i do????

I've posted here several time before about how i had a crush on my former best friend for a long time and how he started to ignore me and all that crap. i did recently send him a letter type thing and after an awkward period of time we started talking again and he apologized, and said he wanted to actually be friends again. im completely good with that but im begging myself to not get too attached yet again, since he now has another girlfriend and i dont want to be depressed about being ignored if it happens again since i know he is distracted. but ive had feelings for him for a while, and ive mentioned before how he lived with me for a while and we were practically siblings. im wondering if we somehow found out that i liked him and that is why he was distant from me. point is, im wondering if i should just tell him, or wait until later, or tell him if he and his gf break up, or just not tell him at all?

It depends on the people, but those are decent ideas so far. I skype with my guy a lot; he's in the Army. Now, some people talk a lot and others don't - we talk all the time about anything and everything, so talking frequently or for a long time is no problem for us (plus we don't feel awkward if there is quiet). I was concerned I'd go blank and have nothing to say on skype because I NEVER skype anyone but, luckily, it was a smooth transition and we still do just fine. We do watch movies together and chat some during them (or even just watch quietly) and basically we just.. make time for each other.

Skype is nice because I can see how he is for myself, not just hear it in his voice. And I can see him smile and laugh at me being goofy.

I also send him mail and the occasional package. He appreciates me taking the time to do that, I get to know he has a little piece of me, he gets a little surprise, and in the letters I can be mushy and say I care about him.

Okay I found the red title to be unnecessary and melodramatic (your post was no more 'urgent and important' than anyone else's.

You can let him know you like him too but that you want to take things slow. If you are very quiet, he may worry you don't like him back. Perhaps let him know you get nervous and happy but that your tongue gets tied up, so that he at least knows you are into him.
