People who are easily offended and correct you on something completely asinine that wasn't even offensive to begin with.

I commented on an entry where someone made art and never got their payment for said art. I said "I'm sorry you got gypped, hope you get your money back!" Now, the common person knows the word "gypped" as meaning "scammed" or "ripped off."

Nope! Someone replies to me saying "I don't know if you know this, but that term is racist and refers to gypsies and it might offend someone!"

1, nobody besides you know that. 2, nobody on this community is going to get offended, the only people who might get offended were born in the bleeping FORTIES and 3, nobody cares.

If you're easily offended, toss out your computer right now and get off the internet. We shouldn't have to walk on eggshells to make sure your delicate little feelings aren't hurt.

People are so easily offended these days! If something even includes like the word black being bad and white being good its automatically racist. When we were in 4th grade my brother made these comics with a white and black bird and the black bird like always ended up being the loser in the end and my dad told him to make it a red bird because it was racist. Father you refer to my friend who's another race as 'my colored friend'. He has a name.

That's the stupidest reason to get offended ever.

Just because you like something doesn't mean you have to get all offended, overbearing, and annoying about it. True fandom is realizing something's not perfect and poking fun at the faults, not defending your fandom to the death while blindly disregarding all faults. That's being a sheep, not a fan.

If one more person calls me racist for not liking Obama I'm going to explode. No, It has absolutley nothing to do with him being black. I could care less about his skin color really. I kind of wish people would stop making such a big deal about him being the first black president anyways. It doesn't make him any better or worse than any white candidate.
Or really anyone who uses race as an excuse for everyone to love someone. I'm really not being racist, you're just being an idiot.

So you're saying that if someone is like bashing you and your beliefs and everything you wouldn't care? You'd only be offended when people are bashing someone else?

Bashing and stating an opinion are different. I agree some of the ways the opinions were stated weren't the best way but its an opinion. Bashing someone because of their own opinion that doesn't match your own isn't good and is offensive.

@Wibeke: Tell me if I'm wrong but didn't he get a Nobel Peace Prize for being black? Isn't that racist? I see what you're saying though. I don't dislike people for being of a certain race I dislike them for being mean!
