I hate to be a huge brat, and also to dig up an old post, but that kinda offends me \: I really love Mythbusters, especially Adam and Jamie.
Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see. It's getting hard to be someone but it all works out, it doesn't matter much to me
I read the news today, oh, boy. Four-thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire, and though the holes were rather small, they had to count them all. Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall
And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, shine until tomorrow, let it be

Supposedly, they KNEW something was wrong with the oil rig, but since things like these rarely happen, they decided not to do anything about it, just to save money! O.o;

When you have a tiny bit of a song stuck in your head but you don't know the song it's from.
It annoys the heck out of me.Airz wrote:PurplePugQueen wrote:I find Mythbusters interesting, even though the two main guys are a wannabe walrus and a spaz reality rejector.

Oh, my apologies. I didn't mean to offend anyone. I've always loved the mythbusters and it just seemed to fit those two. I've always thought they were hilarious. Sorry, again. I was in a bad mood at the moment too.

Oh I hate that. I've got like 1600 songs on my MP3 player...and will get one phrase of one I haven't listened to in forever stuck in my head for days until I figure out what song it is.

Heheh, did a paper on that one in school. Money is not the root of all evil. Money is a tool. You refer to the pursuit of money. xD

*shrugs* Whoever said that money can't bring you happiness, though, lied, because when I went to a smaller school, my grades shot up pretty much automatically. XD And it's a $900 / mnth private school, too! O.o;
But I suppose you only get happiness if you actually SPEND it. Like, BP would've gotten happiness, if only THEY'D spent their precious cash on fixing the oil rig, too! XD

People who are easily offended and correct you on something completely asinine that wasn't even offensive to begin with.
I commented on an entry where someone made art and never got their payment for said art. I said "I'm sorry you got gypped, hope you get your money back!" Now, the common person knows the word "gypped" as meaning "scammed" or "ripped off."
Nope! Someone replies to me saying "I don't know if you know this, but that term is racist and refers to gypsies and it might offend someone!"
1, nobody besides you know that. 2, nobody on this community is going to get offended, the only people who might get offended were born in the bleeping FORTIES and 3, nobody cares.
If you're easily offended, toss out your computer right now and get off the internet. We shouldn't have to walk on eggshells to make sure your delicate little feelings aren't hurt.
