Crushes, Boyfriends, and Girlfriends | V4

Okay so I have a crush on this guy (Let's call him T) and I have liked him for a while. Now T is very athletic and plays football, wrestling, basketball and track. He also is in choir and band. Now here is the crazy part. So technically we are the same age, but because his parents held him back a year because that's what the state said was best to do, he is a grade lower than me. He and I both know each other well since we have homeroom together and I was his wrestling manager last year we get along pretty well. The problem is I have no idea how to talk to him even though we have some things in common but I just don't know how to get a convo started and keep it going.... Advice?

Mine's name is Forest and hes a basketball player... hes cute and hes blonde with braces and green eyes... im a total nerd when it comes to doctor who, warrior cats ECT. and i dont think hes that type... i love his personality though and he is in my 5th period... we stare at each other not knowing and im just like, OKAY NOPE HES LOOKING ING AT ME *hypervenalating* XD one day he talked to me and said , " sorry about him hes weird. i do all the work" holds up a peice of paper , " see? he did THIS question I did the rest then he smiled" and i smiled fast and replied stupidly, "THATS OAKY@!!!!!!" LOL i need advice *sigh*

Mmm. Well, I have a friend that I've known since preschool. I was always the kind of girl who was willing to play with anyone, so as you can imagine, I've had more than my fair share of sitting behind a play fort with boys digging up worms. At any rate, so we're friends, and still on good terms since I recently started going to school with him at my new school. Well, it turns out that he's, uh, sorta cute... like, as in, we were doing a scary story activity in CA, and I came up with this theory about ghosts. I told my friend who sits next to me, and then I told him, and he had been thinking the same thing, so I was just like . So cute!!! Anyway. I've also been having fantasies about multiple things involving... us. But I certainly am not going to ruin our friendship by doing anything... romantic. He might like me, as he may have been winking at me in CA, but it wasn't like a 'hey there, I like you', it was just sort of... like we were sharing a joke. Sigh... any advice?

since highschool started, I've met a whole bunch of new friends! good news, right? well, I've had a crush on t since last Halloween [so just over a year now].

there was a dance at my school on thursday. I refused to wear a dress [because they're just not me]. my friend j told me that t had told her he'd like to see me in a dress, but I just assumed j was pulling my arm. plus, I didn't get to reply because t walked up at that moment. when I was buying my ticket for the dance, t walked up behind me and paid for his ticket right after me. it was normal and fine, but I overheard one of my friends [ja] that was running the ticket booth say to him, 'so, are you gunna make your move at the dance?' I didn't hear him reply but another girl running it said 'awe that's cute'. he never made a move on anyone that night.

last weekend t and I went to two parties together and I was going to admit my feelings to him but I never got the chance. on Halloween there was a garage party at my house, and of course t was invited. there were a bunch of us and we ended up playing hot seat [a game where everyone asks a specific person a question]. when my friend s' turn came around, someone asked her who she liked. she wouldn't answer and I instantly assumed it was t. I asked her personally after and she told me it was him, but she felt bad because she knows I like him [and I told her it was fine because I can't control other people's feelings].

during the night, while we were all sitting around, t kept telling me to move my chair and sit beside him, which is perfectly normal for him. after s and everyone except for a few friends [including t] left at midnight, we all chilled. t explained that ja had told him to date s, but he had declined without hesitation. as he said this, he looked over at me.

I really like t, and I've chickened out [telling my feelings to him] way to many times. I'm concerned previous events are going to resurface, except with s this time.

What you provided sounds inconclusive to me. Yeah, it sounds like he enjoys your company. Beyond that? Who knows?

Also, I don't understand your last comment (and I don't understand why it ends in a question mark). You realize people can like more than one person, right?

What do you mean? ^-^ Did he do something to you? You say you like him, but he's also destroying you?
I'm sorry, I'm trying to help yet also failing to understand at the same time. >.> *facepalm*

I agree; the post was unclear and melodramatic so I was also not sure how to respond.

There is no straight-forward answer. I would tell myself to move on, because there is always someone better later on!

Okay, thanks! So it's just you have to wait and get over it? "Time heals everything" or something like that? xD

It's not like you wait and wait and then at Day 100 as the prize you are suddenly over it. Time doesn't heal. It really doesn't. BUT - it puts distance between you and the past. It can also help you gain some perspective and to be more objective, less emotional. And that may help you change your opinion of someone or something to feel less attached or hurt, for example.
