i just got super upset and depressed for no known reason. idk how to get out of it and i keep shutting myself down from other people. ugh

I don't know how to keep my mouth shut offline and online without feeling silenced anymore... No one is even trying to silence me except for my parents. So why do I feel like every time I keep my mouth shut, I'm being silenced, even when my parents aren't involved? I've said things both online and offline recently that were better left unsaid because they derailed the conversation in an unproductive manner... I knew that and I chose to say them anyway. And I wasn't even communicating properly, so a lot of the intended messages on both sides ended up getting lost. And for what?

Why can't I just keep my mouth shut and feel good about it like I used to?

Upset. Someone who was supposed to give my family money probably lied.
We needed that money for food, and to get our other stuff back from a shop.
This is why I have no expectations for anything.
