My cat is probably dying and I'm two hours away from her and can't be with her and can't even leave to drive home to get to her because of this stupid snow and my best friend is on the other side of the world and I really need her but I don't want to ruin her vacation by sharing how miserable I am and I really want chocolate and we don't have any and there's noting I can do and I feel so stuck and useless and alone.

*breathes*

Aw... It's always sad when a pet dies. I've had it happened to me about 4-6 times. (Not sure if the frogs count) The other two we had to give away. What I did was usually either read, listen to an audiobook/song, or watch a movie. It helped to distract me from the grief. My cat died just last november, while I was at cross-country class. It was horrible. The next day we all watched Harry Potter 6 in theaters, and for the length of the movie I was actually sort of happy. All wounds heal in time, but during that time it's pretty hard. *Hugs* *Gives V-day chocolate*
