Actually Castrati' were in Opera; they were just young boys, probably under 15 who played the female parts

Well the thing is, is that they cut off part of the males (I'm not sure if that is exactly CS appropriate) making it so their voice would never deepen and would eventually become High pitched and it sounds kinda awkward...

In 2004 a merlequin Great Dane named Gibson took the record for worlds tallest dog. He was 42.6 inches tall at the shoulders and was 7 feet 1 inch tall on his hind legs, he weighed in at 180 pounds. He was born on April 22, 2002 and lived until August 7, 2009.

Shortly after Gibson's passing, George, or "Giant George" as he is now reffered to, too the record for worlds tallest dog. Giant George is a AKC regestered blue european great dane. He was born Nov 17, 2005 and took the record for tallest dog on feb. 15, 2010. How big is George? George is 43 inches tall at the shoulder and weighs a whopping 245 pounds! He is still alive today.

Whilst Great danes usually hold the record for worlds tallest dog, on average Irish wolfhounds are taller.
