So, my best friend and her boyfriend (who I can't STAND) just broke up.
And now, he's being friendly, like, REALLY friendly to me. And he's NEVER friendly to me!! (I'm not exaggerating, we pretty much hate each other....)
Examples:
Opening doors for me
Trying constantly to make me laugh
He no longer calls me "A monstrous baby eater" (No joke...he actually used to call me that. XD.)
And he's messing around with me in "friendly-ish" ways. Like, jokingly messing around with my music while I'm playing, picking petty arguments with me, etc...
Its kinda freaking me out....Usually, we bicker like cats-and-dogs. I don't know if he's flirting, or just joshing with me....
Not to mention, I have a boyfriend, (And he knows. My BF is one of his best friends..)
So, should I just ignore this, or should I be concerned.
I personally think he's just trying to make your friend jealous. But I also think it could be from the way they broke up. If she broke up with him because of something he did or if he broke up with her for some random reason, then he's probably trying to get on the nerves of your friend or get her jealous. My best advice would be to try and ignore him as much as possible, especially if you have a boyfriend.

Well, I think that if A continues with compliments on certain occasions, he could be doing it to try and make you feel better and even make you into a happier person if he thinks the compliments will help. Otherwise, I think he was trying to make your day better.
And if you even need to talk, I'm here for ya. :)
