YOUR QUESTION: We're doing double partial integrals, and I'm on this two part problem (a and b are different problems but both are #6) Step one is to inverse the integral from dydx or dxdy to the opposite, I've done that just fine. Then we have to solve it. I'd like to take this moment to say I've undergone major dental surgery recently and one of my teeth didn't set right so I am in a WORLD of PAIN, and my mind just isn't keeping up with me, which is probably 60% of my issue now:

I have A: {{ y e^(-x^2)dydx with dy from 0 to X^1/2 and dx from 0 to 4. If I have it right the first integration is 0 -> 4{ 1/2 * x * e(-x^2) dx but I can't remember how to integrate further.

I have B: {{ (1/y)Sin(y)Cos(x/y)dxdy with dx from y to 0 and dy from 0 to 1. Again, I've gotten past the first intergration to get { - Sin (y) Sin(1) dy but I can't simplify this either since my teacher stresses that we give exact answers, which means I can't plug Sin(1) into a calculator and use the decimal, and it doesn't FORM a fraction D=

So far the tree has told the sapling to bury her roots near a polluted river, and has asked that she grow bent that way she can still get the required sunlight. I need the old tree to request the sapling do one more thing for her. The problem is i have intense writers block -.- I was hoping someone here could help me :3

I feel like this doesn't include enough information. I've tried it both the geometry way and the trig laws way, but there are a lot of assumptions that need to be made for it to work - unless I'm just doing something wrong, or completely forgot my grade 9 triangle analysis methods, which I truly hope I still remember. Here's the solution and method I used, though:

Frankly the only reason I'm even slightly sure of my solution is that all the numbers seem to be rounding well, no repeating decimals and no awkward fractions. Hopefully this is right, or at least gets you on the right track. c: (Let me also mention that I meant "12.5*10/2 = 125/2 = 62.5" Final answer's right, the solution isn't, but... whatever.)

Multiply the integers and add together the powers (assuming the powers' bases are the same).
So, you've got ((4∗3) x^(1+0.5) y^(1+8) z^(4+5)) - try simplifying that. c:
Fairly sure you'll get 12x^1.5y^9z^9.

@Catheren I can give a more detailed answer later, but for now, I have the following advice:

1) when you're down to a single integral, fall back onto your Calc II integration techniques

2) remember that some scalars just look scary but are still scalars
