So today something strange happened at lunch with me and my crush. Yesterday evening, after my volleyball game (which he went to ^_^) I mentioned I'd be in the library tomorrow (today) and offered to help him with a class I know he's struggling with. My other friend made lunch plans with him one time but he said he'd forgotten, but he actually came at lunch. So we were sitting there, talking and such, and once in a while I'd look away from him to write down notes for my study guide. Out of nowhere in the middle of lunch, this guy (who looks about the same grade as him - freshman) asks me if I'm dating him. I said no, but tried not make it sound like I was completely shunning the idea, then asked the kid why he asked. He said, "Because I looked over at him and he winked at me." Or something like that. Anyone have any idea what that could have been about? I'm honestly extremely confused on this ordeal here. >.<

A boy at school likes me and i admit he is cute but i dont want to date anyone right now. I am pretty good friends with his sister and she told me today that he still likes me. It felt like someone punched me in the gut. She wanted to know how i feel about her brother. I feel like it is too awkward for me to talk about and i feel terrible breaking someones feelings. What should i do?

It's perfectly understandable that you don't want to date anyone at the moment. If his sister asks again, just tell her that you think he's cute. If he asks you out, or a question about you two dating pops up, just admit that you're not ready for a relationship right now. It doesn't exactly crush his or your chances of getting together, and it lets him know that you at least see him in a positive way. c:

I'm just upset cause I'm lonely tonight and I wanna be with him but all I can do is lay here and text him and she just hangs out with him whenever and I wish I could do that....

Do you ever have that crush that you can't get out of your mind and you would do anything to be with? That's literally my life XD!! I surf with my friend James and he is so nice to me. I know is probably in that friendly way but how do I know for sure? Before heats he tells me good luck and gives me high-5s and every time we walks past each other he says "hi" even if we just finished talking XD he agrees with me a lot on what type if wave conditions we like. I've been seeing him every weekend so far. My friends were swimming right next to me while I was surfing with him and they told me that when he rode the same wave as me, he looked at his friend and did that "I like her" smile… I really wanna believe them but I really have no idea what he thinks or feels about me. He also looks at me a lot… oh gosh someone please help!
