Crushes, Boyfriends, and Girlfriends

My crush L is apparently going on the D.C. trip... SCORE! xD I walked in late and about half of the people turned around when I came in. He saw me and kept pretending to rest his head on his arms but I saw he was looking at our table *cough* me! *cough*. And then his friend started hitting him for some reason (teasing-like) and I had a feeling it had to do with me since the person talking said nothing interesting. Not sure if he likes me or not, why are guys so confusing! D:

Okay, I just met the sweetest guy at track! I will call him E.
So, first track night; He bikes up, a cute blonde with stunning blue eyes. Though out practice, I couldn't help but compete with him a bit <3 Sure, E beat me every time, but he seemed to notice....
Second practice; I try to get to know him a bit. We say hi, give each other tips, just get a little friendly.
Third; After practice, he could have biked home. My mom was running late, though. He stayed behind and we chatted, even though it was getting dark. I inquired why he didn't get going, and he just smiled and said he had biked home in the dark before, and it wasn't that bad. <333 So, I at this point feel a little weak in the knees for him. My mom pulls up, and I get in and say bye. He then gets on his bike.
Forth; After practice, I was waiting for my dad. He was late, and I spotted E straightening a bike tire. I went over and helped. After that, we spent a while talking about our lives. He insisted I get an email, he didn’t say why, though. So, as we were talking, it was getting dark again. He didn’t mind, though. Actually, as we were talking, there was a pigeon that flew over and landed in an old broken vent system on the storage shed we were by. Another pigeon stuck its head out, and we heard chicks! He smiled and said he would bring some bread to feed them next time we came. He actually said bad bread, then stumbled on himself and said quickly he meant old stale, and he didn’t mean that he wanted to hurt them or anything <33333 Is that cute, or what?
So, I really warmed up to this guy, and it’s only the first week! I can’t wait to see him again…. He is so cute and sweet! Any advice as to how I can find out if he has a thing for me?

D and I texted a tiny bit today. He went shopping in -interest city name here that is an hour away from my town-. Yeah, we are hoping to get together sometime this spring break but I don't know. I am shopping tomorrow, friday night I have horseback riding then the dance. If I am lucky I will hang out with him on saturday. But my over protective father won't even let me go uptown alone so if I go up to meet my boyfriend it will be a big no no. -.-;

Could I please get some adivce or help?
My boyfriend D and I met yesterday. We talked a little but it wasn't much. We hung out for like ten minutes then he had to go home because his parents were making lunch.
I am afraid. I think we ruined our friendship by dating. I love him and all but still... we hardly talk now and it's akward. We used to talk 24/7 now we practically avoid each other. Some people call him a player and such, but he isn't. They don't know him enough to call him that.
I cant believe I am saying this but in the back of my mind I am thinking about ending it. I just want my best friend back. But I have already ended one relationship this year and also I love him so much. I care about him until the ends of the earth and this is the first guy I really care about that I am dating.
There is a dance on friday and I am going. D and I slow dance at the dances, that's when I really feel a connection with him.
Do you guys know anything I could ask to make conversation with him to get through those akward silences?

Hmm.. how about some dance related chat maybe?

You could ask something like what his fave song is.
Or how if he's alright, like if something happened. [:
