After being brought to a psychiatrist, I finally realized why people would look at me weird when I asked them to "Turn down the radio, the color is too bright". ^^;

When I'm coloring something, I like to have a song with similar shades. :3 It keeps me focused, and inspires me to work with new colors I may not have thought of, otherwise.

wow, i've heard of that, but i just can't imagine how that could be. you can hear colors?! :shock:

More like, I hear a word and see a color. Or I see a word, but I also see a color. (It's different for different people, though)
Also, whenever I hear a word/sound, I associate a texture to it. Not all words, though. x3

@Achi: "Fuzzy bells" sounds strangely cute. X3 I can see how you could get a rainy texture- to me, the color is more chrome-ish; raindrops in moonlight, so I can relate to that. :3 Lemony-yellow is harder for me to grasp, though; but that's what makes it fun~ We both see colors, but they're fairly different... For some reason, I really like that. ^^; Maybe I'm just a little odd.

@Nikhaeli: No- well, yes, but- It's hard to explain. ^^;; I see colors with music and voices; not hear colors, exactly. Though, I have heard that that's possible. Anyway, I don't really "see" them in front of my eyes, more like... in the back of my mind. It makes perfect since to me, but...

Like I said, it's hard to explain. |D

---

Seeing white is actually fairly normal. :3 Most people claim to see white when something loud happens, and they're in a dim room. Like being half-asleep and hearing a fire alarm; most people will say they saw a flash of white.

That low, electric whine most things put off is called "White noise" for a reason; most people can see white if they hear it suddenly turning off or on. It's kind of a shock to your ears, since it's almost always running in the background.

You people who can hear colors are so effing cool. I'd love to have that. The only thing wrong with me is that whenever I'm doing math or just thinking about numbers, they seem like... err. People ,in a way. Characters, and it's like they're doing a play in my mind, if that makes sense.

@Capri: Honestly, I'm jealous of you! XD I'm horrible with numbers- they just make no since to me, at all. I can barely remember how to do the simplest of math problems; but with a gift like that, I have a feeling that it would be much easier to remember. |D;

On the positive side, picking up languages is a bit easier for me. :3 I can remember certain words because of their distinct colors; so I know a little bit of almost every language I've heard. Japanese is the easiest, though, since the overall pronunciation is a bit clearer than, say, German or French. Maori's colors are pretty clear, too; but it's harder for me to remember, since most of the shades are similar.
-Spanish hardly has any recognizable colors, strangely enough.-

XD. Yeah, that's the only upside to whatever's going on in my head. Knowing that 7 teamed up with 5 to beat up 12 just helps me out, especially when dealing with bigger numbers, though everyone else would think I was crazy if I tried to explain it. Or how 6 is distantly related to 9, or how 7 is the uncle of both 3 and 4.

... hopefully someone understood what I just said. XD

6 also at one point brings food to 9, and then they realize that they're related. Her son is 3, and her brother is 7.

Multiple digit numbers aren't personified to me, but the individual numbers in them are. Like... 157. 157 does not have a personality to me, however I can see how 7 must be babysitting 1 when 5 comes, wanting him to go do something else.

@Capri: Truthfully, that just flew right over my head. |D But it's awesome how you can remember all of that!
-Just wondering, but what's zero? o.o-

@Digimon': Look at it this way, at least you'll never be alone! :D And so long as you can separate fiction from realty, as in you know he's not real, it's not considered a technical mental illness... Well, maybe it could be, but not a high-priority one. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone, you're fine. :3
