I accidentily rhyme with pen
and when I read it to my peers,
everyone gives laughing cheers!
Cause I didn't mean for it to be a joke,
and now I look like a rhyming bloke!

In class today we were studying rhymes!!
Guess I joined at the perfect time!
For a project, we must recite a poet's rhyming work,
I thought I might go bizzerk!
More homework?! I said
Until I sat and used my head
I could use my poem about the snow and sun,
And it actually could be kinda fun!

And I'm sorry that was so long,
At least my rhyming isn't wrong!

but I've always known how to blink.
I learned how as a baby,
and I've only gotten better. Maybe.

Maybe a poet, but being a fantasy author is what I really dig.

Poetry is not my talent, and it never has been.
I've currently got two Word documents open that I'm writing in.
I'm writing two fantasy stories at once,
and failing at both. I'm such a dunce.

My brain's full of everything but the kitchen sink.
