Thankfully my mother didn't care how my sister nor I dressed, as in if we wore make-up, skirts, etc. My sister is very girly and I am a complete tomboy, and we were raised that we could be whatever we wanted. We were never pressured.
Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see. It's getting hard to be someone but it all works out, it doesn't matter much to me
I read the news today, oh, boy. Four-thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire, and though the holes were rather small, they had to count them all. Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall
And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light that shines on me, shine until tomorrow, let it be

I was pretty lucky in that my parents didn't pressure me into anything clothing or relationship related. I'm 16 now, so in most girls standards, I should "have myself a guy." I don't though XD I'm content just messing around with my friends (both guys and girls) and playing sports.

I like hanging out with guys because they're so much less dramatic and clique-y. At least at my school. I have always been more inclined to be friends with guys, so I usually don't think of any of them in my grade as "cute" or "total hotties" as other girls in my grade call them XD
I hate makeup. It takes too long to apply and take off. My mom rarely points at a guy and says "oh he's cute blah blah." It's pretty cool. Plus, my dad + me dating before 18 = me getting killed. XDD

" AHhhh! Sick! I HATE those guys! They're all gay....and the music they play sucks.
My mom is a bit like that.
She'll go,
"Oh, he was a really sweet boy, wasn't he?" and I'll be drawing a pic of Espio or something and go,
"Oh yesh he is!" Mom goes,
" Really?"
"Yah, he's always like that."
Five minutes later, she looks down at my picture and then rolls her eyes.
"Con! I'm talking about the one in the store!"
"Oooh. Meh, no. He's a dick."
"What did you just say?!"
" I mean. No. I don't like guys like that."

My mother doesn't do that ever, as she knows I believe majority of males are ignorant perverted jerks .___.
I have only 2 1/2 guys friends out of the... 200+ people know?

A lot of the girls in my grade come to me and ask what my guy friends like, in case they want to date them. It gets annoying DX A typical conversation like this with another girl and me.
Girl: Sooo, what movies does *INSERT FRIEND NAME HERE* like?
Me: I dunno, horror usually.
Girl: Oh. So does that mean he might want to see *movie* with me?
Me: Ask him yourself. He won't rip your head off.
Girl: Ugh, fine. I'll go ask him. Thanks for the no advice.
Me: WTH?!
