Role Play Rant Thread V.2

I hate how I lack the skills to be a good roleplay owner.

Enough said.

I'm probably a bad owner because I get sick and tired or reminding people to post so it eventually dies. B|
I'm not their damn update-service.
That's why you subscribe to the thread, and when your turn comes around you post.
I almost feel like saying "There are no bad RP owners, only bad role players." xD
But then I have seen bad owners before. B|
Like the ones that never update anything.

So do i its really difficult to fill out a characters personality and then roleplay it out

Actually SOME people DO have difficulties making a basic history/personality, especially if it's a character make specifically for the purpose of the roleplay. My sister is an amazing artist, but she has the hardest time coming up with histories and personalities for her amazingly-designed characters. I on the other hand have a hard time drawing designs, but can rather easily come up with (twisted) histories and personalities. n.n

Sometimes, I make a character with a basic history and personality, but when I start rp'ing them they suddenly veer off to have a different sort of personality. As if they take a life of their own XDD

I update constantly, but when I'm booked with real life I forget about my roleplays and it dies.

Or they're online and active, posting in the RP but can't be bother to click page 1 and do a quick edit of including the new players on the front page.

I suck at histories. Really, really suck at them. I don't find them too necessary unless the character's personality is strongly affected by it.

How it's been at least three days since my friend and I have posted in our RP. She went on a field trip, so I tried to think of something while she was gone, but got nothing. Now we're stuck talking about what we should do, but with no avail D:

Being swamped with AP exam studying + piano practicals practicing (lol alliteration) = no time to write up replies to rps. D; I'm feeling deprived, somehow.

Sooo... I find this decent RP.. pretty nice..I join one night, and then I'm gone for a day because I'm taking care of my sick friend... They're up to 19 pages.. whew. I ask for a recap cause I had read 13 of those pages and it seemed.. confusing. All I got out of it was fighting.


The owner says

(Cant you guys just read through the RP? Its only 20 pages... Thats souldnt be too much. Im not trying to sound mean or anything. Im just giving a suddestion. I guess I'll see where all of you left off and give a recap to all of you.)

. . . . . . I didn't even start. It sounds pretty rude to me.. I mean, I'm somewhat busy and I really want to RP, it would be nice.. and you'll probably keep some RPers if you recap for them after 20 pages.. But I'm glad I left.. People RP'd like this
