Some of the people on the MMOs I play are the biggest idiots I know. Almost half of them have a 'wifey' when clearly both of them are men (or they act like men) and they continuously shout spam, slander, and profanity all over the message boards. Most of the time they say things of a homosexual nature, and I'm just sitting here thinking, okay, is it mainstream to be gay/act gay/make fun of gays? It's people like this that give gay people a bad name, in my opinion. It's not funny and it isn't cute. It just makes you look like a complete moron.
And yes, I don't know anything about them, their gender or their sexuality. But there's really no reason to post disguting things on a server wide channel that everyone can read.
