I once tried to join an RP as a Novia Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. My form was declined because I "tried to join as a nonexistant breed." Seriously. People are so ignorant.
That was a looong time ago though.
Except for my 3 huskies, I mainly use lesser-known dog breeds.

Next time anything like that happens, tell them to Google it. Answer to every counter like that. However, I tend to choose larger dogs myself, but I pick slightly different breeds than the normal pitbull or German shepherd. I roleplay as either a Harlequin Great Dane, or as a Mastiff.

Tervurens are cool. I RP as mine a lot. They're big, but not often used.

I usually RP whatever breed somewhat fits the character I'm making. I know a whole lot of breeds though, so they end up kind of generic and boring.

Anyways, I'm annoyed that they're aren't any good stray dog RPs. I was in a really good one, but it died pretty quickly and i want to reuse my character.

Wow, really? I love those dogs o3o Someone asked me what a basenji was one time, as well as a havanese. Apparently only German Shepherds, huskies, akitas, and labs are existent in most roleplays.

What annoys me is that it seems no one ever plays mixed breeds. In this certain roleplay I mentioned earlier, there were numerous 'pet' dogs, and not one of them was a mixed breed. Um, hello? The majority of the dog population is mutts. And it's not like you can't find good pictures of them-- I was able to procure numerous photographs of a basenji/chow chow mutt character. Even in stray dog roleplays-- it's like purebred german shepherds and huskies are just roaming the streets. That would be like a pure Russian Blue in a Warriors roleplay. It's just unrealistic.

I now have the urge to roleplay a chihuahua/toy manchester terrier mix in a stray dog roleplay XD

Stop making me want to join a roleplay as my friend's dog, it's a cavoodle. And one of it's traits is to lick people, and by lick I mean if you have your hand 10 cm away she'll try and lick you. Argh, stop making me want to ditch homework. Must... resist.. urge... to... role..play... >_>

I haven't been on the computer all day because of the fact we had to drop off family who had stayed over for a while. I wasn't able to update the member page of Sands and Seas today and there was a bloom of new members.

Because of this there are two cats going for the same job and now one needs to change their character's Flock and Position and arghhh! It's confusing!
