Will walked through her towns tiny park, thoughts buzzing. What if my hood goes down? Summer is so great, but this is a tragedy! Why did it have to be like this. . .? She continued walking until she reached the little stream where she skipped rocks and watched the clouds as a kid. "I was so much happier then. . ." she murmured. She listened to the light gurgling and figured it wouldn't hurt to see if her rock-skipping skills had improved since the last time she'd bothered to come here. She took a bit of time searching for a suitable rock, but one found her. She tripped over it, seeing as it was jutting out of the ground, and did a face-plant in the mud. "Oh, lovely." Will muttered stubbornly. She got up, brushed herself off, and examined the rock that had tripped her. She rubbed the edges to check for smoothness: check. She measured the height to be sure it was thin enough: check. She went through the basic procedure, then went back to the stream to skip the rock. 1, 2, 3. . . It stopped jumping, then landed in the stream with a splash, and Will couldn't help but feel sorry for herself when a lot of it splashed onto her toes. They instantly started to get a bit chilly. Although, it was kind of nice. With a hood up on an eighty degree day, she couldn't honestly say that her temperature was regulating itself that well. Suddenly, and idea came to her. If there was no one around. . . Will turned. There were some kids playing soccer in the field about a hundred yards away, but otherwise, the park was eerily silent. The placid sky and the merciless sun kept begging her to put down the hood and just wade in the stream. You won't be as hot, just go in. No one will see you. She could hear one half of herself cooing, coaxing her into slipping into the stream without her hood. She knew it was dangerous. She knew it full well, but the other half of her was begging that she did nothing of the sort, just stay safe and stay low. She didn't need any publicity for something that she herself hated. Despite her conflicting feelings about the subject, she let down her hood and rolled up her jeans. She stepped down to the stream carefully let herself slip into the water. It gurgled and ebbed around her calves, and she stepped downstream slowly, taking in the scene. It seemed like she was in a forest stream, not in some dingy park. This place was really pretty. Sunlight filtered through the treetops overhanging the stream, her ears flicked back happily, welcoming the light. Will suddenly remembered that there was probably mud all over her face from before, so she cupped her hands and started splashing some water on her face. She slowly rubbed her hands across her cheeks and forehead, then continued her trek.
Jason
Jason flipped the page of his book, and a glorious, capricious breeze kissed his face lightly. His hood threatened to fall, but he quickly grabbed it and pulled it up. He heard a few consistant splashing noises in the creek, and he turned and cocked his head in interest. "It's nothing," he murmured. "Get back to your book and stop being so childish." Jason stopped for a moment. What was he thinking? Childish? More just curious. But still, it was beneath him to go and look at something that's probably just an animal in a stream. Regardless of his feelings about his dignity, the curiousity still pulled at him, but Jason didn't budge. He forced himself back into reading, and slowly, his thoughts about the noises faded away. After a little bit, he noticed that the park, except for the kids at the soccer field, had gone silent. Where are the noises? Odd. . . Jason thought. It had been only a minute or two, and the park was utterly silent. That was it. Jason stood up and wandered towards the small parting in the trees where he believed that the noises had started. He poked his head in as quietly as he could, and he saw nothing interesting. He looked down into the stream at his reflection. It was disturbed, though, but v-shaped ripples. Something had been here. . . or maybe it was that girl he'd seen earlier. He had no idea what she was thinking with her hood up, seeing as it was about eighty degrees, but he decided that he'd let that slide. Maybe she was cold, had poor circulation, or maybe she was just out of her mind. He'd never really know unless he found out, and he thought that it could be kind of interesting if he decided to go and take a look at the source of the noises. "It might not be her. It could just be a deer. . ." he muttered, still inwardly scolding himself about his curiosity. He pulled off his shoes, rolled up his jeans, and waded in. He continued to follow the rippes, until he reached. . . He stumbled backward as silently as he could. What he saw was a girl with stunningly violet eyes, and long, dark brown, wavy hair. It was tipped by blue and purple, with streaks of those colors scattered throughout her hair to match it. She was gorgeous, sure, but she didn't seem like someone to fall for. Not to mention, she looked younger than him. But what really shocked him was the black cat ears sitting on her head, a white tipped tail swishing in the pool of sunlight in the little clearing. With that, Jason left. Not quietly enough, though. The girl snapped to attention at the sound of a little sploosh of Jason's foot. "Who's there?" she called. Jason was instantly ripped apart. Either he figured out how there was another person like him, or he could walk away and risk getting pulverised. Jason grimaced, but he turned and walked into the clearing. He put down his hood, and introduced himself. "Hi, I'm Jason." His ears flicked forward at the sound of the gurgling downstream, and the girl's mouth was seemingly struggling not to drop. "Hi. . . I'm Will."

No. Just no.
Their average posts per day is 42.95, and they are clearly not so busy to be unabe to reply twice a day to our RP. Ah, I hate those pathetic excuses...
