There's this dude Anthony. At the beginning of the school year he really liked me, and I kinda liked him back. Even though we talked more on Facebook then we did in real life, when he asked me out (over facebook) I still said yes. However, I freaked out the next morning and didn't want a boyfriend, so I broke up with him and told him to move on. Now we talk a lot more and I feel much more comfortable around him and kinda like him, but I'm afraid he's already moved on, etc.

Well, let me start off by describing my crush. Cole has blonde hair that just barely reaches his eyes, hes short (almost 5 foot), has braces, his eyes are blue, and he is one of those 'boyishly cute' type guys. Im around 5'3, brown hair, hazel eyes, and kinda chubby, if you know what I mean--a bit of extra weight. So were not exactly the most matching pair when were together. But anyway, enough of describing myself and him.( were in 8th grade by the way, and hes in almost all my classes.)
It started off at the beginning of the school year. I joined cross-country along with my two brothers. (im a triplet. Its a joy being the only girl. -_-) Cole is in cross-country as well, because hes friends with my brothers. After the season was over, my school hosts a fall sports awards(which happened to be last month). So I went with my family. The athletes had to sit with their team, and the girls were right in front of the guys. I was behind my brothers and their friends, my crush being one of them. So during the whole thing, they cheered my name for every award; even the sports I wasnt participating in! While it was embarrassing, I guess that was the turning point. He started talking to be a lot more after that night. The following month he gave me high-fives every day and we talk on a daily basis.
Hes friends with the 'cool kids', if you know what I mean. Those complete jerks that are always being obnoxious. But he doesnt make fun of anyone the way they do; his friends even make fun of me because of one guy who im friends with. I think I over-heard Cole one time telling them to stop being jack@$$es towards me. xD
He has a really great sense of humor. He tells me jokes everyday that I strangely find hilarious; One of them being, "What did the pickle say to the banana? "Hi, Sue!" I guess we find that really funny because thats what he says everyday.
Oh, and it seems that he always has an excuse to talk to me. Like, he needs a pen/pencil, or he forgot to do his homework and wants to see mine. Its really cute, actually. He ends up giving me back my stuff anyway. xD And one day he stole my lunch while passing me in the hallway. He took out all my snacks and hid them in his jacket pocket. A couple seconds later he gives everything back to me, but I let him keep a bag of cookies. Now he asks me every day for my cookies. ;3
And now im switching to a different time frame. Well, yesterday on the school announcements, they said that spirit week is next week. One day you get to be your best friend's "twin" like, dressing the same and I guess acting the same. So after the announcements, he asked me if I wanted to be his twin. xD I said yes, of course. He blushed and gave me a high five and went back to his real seat.
Today, he was being really funny. He gave me a super high five today that stung both our hands, so we were screaming and moaning about that during gym. xD During social studies, my last period class, he stole my book because I called him Swiper the fox. So then I said that I would have to swipe my book back because I needed it, and that made him laugh.
Also, he called a girl in the class "Jack"; her name is Jackie. We start cracking up about that for God-knows-why.
The thing is, I dont know if he sees me as just a friend or if he has a crush on me. What do you suggest I do to hint that I like him?

(I think that may be Grade 6 for Americans) He's a tiny bit taller than me, and 3 monthes older. But the thing is, he's one of those guys who likes to change the subject. Honestly, my friend keeps trying to hook us up, but he'll always say something idiotic like 'Nah,I'm hungry' or 'I don't feel like it today... Maybe next year' There are only two grades at our current school.. help?

theres this high schooler thats my best friend's best friend (we will call him L) L saw a picture of me and decided he liked me. we started talking and now i kinda like him. but we have never met. im in 8th grade and Ls in 9th, two totally different worlds it seems like. i'll be going to Ls high school next year. so i think L thinks im his girlfriend and i was ok with that til i found out hes atheist. i have nothing against atheists (except that i dont believe anything that they believe in) but i know my friends and family do (im a Christian and i go to a private Christian school). im very unsure of it and i know if my parents find out, they would kill me. i talked it over with my other friend (a guy, the one metioned in my previous post), and he said that i should wait and not get into this relationship. but i dont want to leave L like his past 3 exs did. he said it was wrong to get into young relationships (huh, he was ok with that before and now that im going for someone else hes suddenly not ok with that...?) my other friend (Ls best friend) said it would be fine. but it goes against what i believe. i really like L for his sweetness and kindness and the way he can make me laugh (hes a miracle worker) but the guilt would eat me alive. and if i leave L, that guilt would eat me alive as well. what should i do??????

We have a lot in common, we trust each other, and he's always been there for me when I need him and I've always been there for him when he needs me. When people try and bully me (or the guy that likes me bothers me) he stands up for me. His looks are pretty indimidating, so it's not that hard for him to protect me. Somebody spread a rumor that made the person he likes hate him and he was sad, I was there to comfort him and get him through it. Our friendship is like a big brother and little siser relationship, without the fighting. He's 4 years older than me, but 1 grade older because I started school 1 year early and he stared 2 years late. Whenever I see this one girl hug him for 15 seconds per hug (I see them hug twice a day, but they might hug more and I just don't see it) I get sad and wish it was me. He doesn't like her back, though. He's everything I look for in a guy and I can see us together, but that's also why we're such good friends. As far as I know, he only sees me as a friend. I don't know whether I should just be his friend, or try to be more. Any advice?

So here's my predicament:
So there's this guy in my class, Logan, and we both used to really like each other two years ago (we never told each other, but it was obvious he liked me and I really liked him), and I still like him a tiny tiny bit. Well, anyways, I was in the classroom at lunch time, and Dylan, one of my guy friends, told me that Logan likes me. It wasn't really a just kind of straight-up "Logan likes you", it was more, well, why don't I just explain it? It was just me and Dylan in the classroom, not an unusual occurence, especially under the current circumstances (which I will not take the time to explain). Dylan was explaining how our seating arrangement would be in a perfect world. He put himself by Lexi, the girl he likes, and me and Logan beside each other. Why I asked why he did that, he said, "Because he likes you.", rather matter-of-factly. I was kind of in shock for a couple of seconds, because I honestly didn't think Logan was interested in me anymore, but then I thought about it, and it did explain some things, not all of them directly having to do with Logan (again, not going into detail).
Ok, so anyways, after all that explaining here's the situation: I want to ask Logan if he actually does like me, just so I can know for sure. I don't really need advice on how to bring it up, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to bring it up out of nowhere at some time when it's just us (which should happen sometime soon, i mean, we're in the same class, we both lifeguard), but my problem is rather how to phrase it. My original thought was to mention that Dyl brought it up, but that could get Logan ticked at Dylan, and I wouldn't want to be the cause of that. So I was just wondering what would work best, if I asked "Dylan mentioned you like me, is that true?", or instead, "I heard ypu like me, is that true?", or "Someone said you like me, is that true?", or just straight-up " Do you like me?". Straight-up do you like me?" is kind of direct and really catches a person off-guard, in my opinion, but "i heard you like me" sounds kinda like it could be a rumour or something. I know I'm probablh fretting too much over little details, but I think the right wording really counts to get the right answer, and I want advice from someone who's probably been there. You should go with, "Somebody said you like me, is it true?" That way, you don't give up Dylan, but him knowing somebody knows (if he really does like you) will make him feel like telling the truth.
Thanks a ton!! I still haven't got the chance to ask him, don't really know when I will, but I'm going with the if it happens, it happens, if it's meant to be, it'll find a way philosophy.
