It hurts somehow seeing mother-tongue speakers typing worser than me... :/
Same here... And I do see a lot of people. XD
Oh JEESH, Sorren. Stop apologizing for your English, it's better than half the people's english where I live, and most of them are either from Florida or Dallas. Seriously, I sometimes think that people from other countries try harder to learn English than we do. My mum's from Hong Kong and my dad is from Germany, they're both 1st generation immigrants to the UK, where I used to live. Apparently they both learned English in about 2 months... I don't think I've ever learnt anything that fast!
@Li-La, send them my way and I'll tell them off....
@Poblakiwi: Aw, don't worry.... You applied and that's all anyone can really expect of you, I think. Post count doesn't matter all that much, on the DC forums some of the moderators have only 400 posts. It's what you DO with those posts... if you have 10,000 posts and all you do is go round saying "Hi, click this: SPAM" then you aren't a good candidate. And LOL I used to do that aswell but then I got sick of it... it sucks trying to find your pets and having to scroll for about a minute to get there!
@Karly: What bothers ME are conversations like this (This was a RP a while back):
Person one: "And so the girl went into the cave. There were spiders there and many interessting bugs."
Person two: ((OMG u speled "interesting" rong!!!))
Gawd.... And yes, person one was me. I really hope BlackVulpix, Featherwolf, Cervas, or Karly make it. Firestar would also make a good moderator, as would Honeybee... I dunno if she applied though.
@Firestar: Call me paranoid, but I think about 20% are in it for customs and staff benefits. People will ignore Tess's warnings no matter what they say... And call me stubborn, but if the new moderator is an idiotic non-literate person (which I severely doubt, seeing as how Vampy and Sorren get a say too) I won't feel like taking orders from them. I have a hard time taking people who refuse to use the shift button seriously. If they can't take a millisecond of their time to capitalize and learn to spell, honestly, they're not going to get very far in life.
