I really think that the semi-lit to literate people ranting about horrible RP's on this board should make a coalition and Roleplays for that coalition. XD To get some good, true roleplays out to the people who want it with the links to them in the main page. Genre lists, etc to make it all nice and shiny!

New Rant:

I'm in this awesome RP about these terrorists who take over a high school and I've got a great idea for a character and my current character is about to box someone's lights out (which is stupid because the other guy has a gun). It's very high adrenaline and I really really want to post in it but.....

I really hate it when my motivation goes out the window. Then I've got this RP I'm sure is going to die and I leave or give up or don't post and when it picks back up again...DX DX DX DX

I'm happy with my new rp charrie ^^ Her name is Rita and when she was growing up, she was a spoiled little brat. Isn't it lovely that that's the only thing I could think of to make her unique? Everyone's charrie's are all sparkely and have horrible pasts etc ;_;

I have a few rants this time...sadly...:

Rant 1: How people make their female characters perfect....ALL THE FREAKING TIME >.< In this 1x1 RP I'm in, my partner's character is a total Mary-Sue, and I've just about had it.

Rant 2: No one will reply to me anymore. I've basically lost most of my faith in other roleplayers (Except for some of my friends) because of it :'c Is it so hard to reply to something? I understand if you have writers block, but for almost two days? That's ridiculous.

I really hate it when you join a role play and it's all girls. That's why I've given up role playing girls. And all the girls on said role play are either "nice but scarred inside with a horrible past" or "cold hearted, I hate everything, don't talk to me" kind of girls.

See, this is why I'm wild about my current female character. She's a faun who has been sheltered for 28 years and will be nice to everyone and cling to anyone who shows her kindness out of survival ("If I'm nice to them, they'll protect me when I need it because I don't know anything about the world and they know more than me.") And she takes everything literally.

I really hate the "nice but scarred inside with a bad past" girls. Because they always use said tragic past as leverage.

I also find that a bit annoying, but I'll admit I'm guilty of the bad past bit. I'm trying out a new char and he was abused by his dad so he ran away. He's the quiet and moody type. I feel so steroptypical DX DX. At least everyone is keeping their heads and not falling all over him like a bunch of noobs XD That tends to happen with quiet moody boys for some reason.

You want to know what I hate?

I hate when you get some really cool ideas for an rp, but you have neither the time nor anyone to rp with.
My 1 rp buddy lost her internet and now when I catch an hour or two of free time, I can't spend it rp'ing. Plus I'm to afraid to go to the forums with my rp ideas due to the fact i've been doing 1 on 1's so long. I can't stand it when an rp thread dies, or has random characers that really don't need to be in the story. Like angst marry dude. every time. bah.

At least I've archived some of our past rp's *looks at 340 pg word document for last rp* Now I'll never know the ending. *sighs*
