I have another rant... Or two... First off, when people join your role play/s, rp in it/them activly, then all of a sudden stop posting in it/them. Then, a month or so later, maybe more, they start to rp there again. Then after a little while, they stop rping again, rinse, repeat(A. K. A., ect.). Second off(this sort of ties in with my first rant), when you know someone is on, and you need them to post in an rp, yet they won't post in that rp. And they actively reply to a different role play, or post on the forum. >.< Hur.

I often find this pattern also in . . .

•Middle schools (ditch, oh no your my friend again, ditch, come back, friend!, ditch . . .)
•Diets (no questions here)
and
•RPG games. (let's forget about our characters for three months, shall we?"

^ That last one there... That's what usually tends to happen to me! |D It sort of makes me mad, though, 'cause just recently, a lot of the rpers in one of my role plays just stopped rping there, now only leaving about three "active" rpers, though, the other two aren't exactly "very active". So I'm basically the only one who actually wants to frequently role play there, and we've already had to bump it a fiew times. I've made the rp accepting again, but no one really wants to join a role play that's already on its 215th page, not to mention we had a previous topic(the second topic was a continuation of the first, picked up where it left off, the fist topic was getting too big), which was 1,695 pages long. /: Then again, I only made it accepting again very recently, so... I'll give it time, yet.

Then there was another role play I made, one of my favorites(I'm actually making it into a book, it was 3,633 pages long), that we made a second topic to, as well. Everyone from the previous role play begged me for another topic, and was so eager when I finally made it. We rped there for a while, happy as could be... Then what happened? Everyone stopped posting, and now it's practically dead, besides two rpers who post a post here and there. Tell me that didn't piss me off. >.< Hur.

Ah, that stinks, Voltaire. I hate it when people join with nice lengthy posts and tthen they don't make a post at all. :l

Ok, I'm semi-lit. SO I like role playing with people of the same level. But I find it VERY hard to reply to short posts in a semi-lit fashion, which makes the role play boring for me... If that person decides to amke ONE really short post where nothing happens, I lose my semi-lit ranking. HOW am I supposed to reply to 'she smiled'? And then they have a go at me for not replying DX

I know how you feel. I like writing paragraphs and stuff, and reading others', but I find that if someone's posts start to decrease in size and I'm rping with them, that my own start to dwindle in size until we're only posting one or two lines each. I hate that, hur. Dx

Yeah, I find that the lengths of my posts vary depending on the length of the person I'm RPing withs posts.

Yeah, I totally see what you two mean. D; I'm in a somewhat-one-on-one(everyone, and I mean everyone, has stopped posting and me and another user decided to have a little fun), and we have the same problem. If I'm a little tired or something, I make a shorter post, and she does the same. She feels tired or whatever, and makes a short post, and then I do. It's like a chain reaction or something. XD I try to post long on things like that.

I am guilty of this. But I think the hard thing is when after you want to come back, you're scared that everyone will hate you. Mostly this has happened because I joined CS in the summer, and school hit me full throttle. So I could rarely post.

The saddist thing is when the boardmaker becomes inactive in their own RP, leaving all of us underling rpers wondering what to do...
