I was showing my best friend (who doesn't role play but loves reading) some RP posts that were pretty bad (non-descriptive sentences) and she said that it was horrible, I'd hate to hear what she'd say about that >_>
And I want her to start RP-ing with my friend and I, but I don't think I'll ever get her to join unless I make some literate role play with 2 paragraphs minimum with near perfect grammar and spelling with strict rules, but then no one would join. /end rant
I used to RP like that person who made the 'chorus' post... I don't anymore though.
My Rant: I'm trying to do more descriptive, more Semi-Lit posts, but I really struggle with descriptive writing... I can do long posts, but half the time my long posts are repeated rubbish

. I really want to improve, but now I just don't know how.
And that I have no ideas to reply to a post in my RP.
I don't usually bother with semi-literate role plays because all you have to do is describe your surroundings etc. to make a paragraph. But for literate role plays you basically describe all 5 senses (if possible) and really just put yourself into your character's position and try to think like them as well as referring to older posts either by you or others to add more to your paragraph as well as taking in your surroundings really. If you're not used to this type of writing though, you could try and do 'practices' by going to random places in your house and then write 2 or 3 paragraphs about the area you're in, your senses and everything else I wrote. I tend to repeat things too in role plays because sometimes if you don't people skim read and don't notice it. (And it's also a language technique, so it is viable if done right.)

Because of that role-play, I never role-play animals anymore >:c I also hardly ever role-play, I just take my role-play people and write stories about 'em. c:
That's why I usually avoid warrior cat role plays because most of them suck (unless it's a parody of bad role play-ness xD) or are way too literate for me. ._. (My memory is too bad to role play about books that I've never really become a fan of.)
Rant: Raaawwrrr. Why aren't there any good fantasy role plays that are new and are semi-lit/lit >_<
Rant#2: I just found out I'm in a whole other timezone than everyone else in the role play I'm in and they keep posting when I'm at school so I can't reply quickly. D: And one of the people keep on cutting class sessions short in the role play as well as using 'you saw, you feel' and future tense. Of all tenses to use. WHY FUTURE!? D: It confuses me! But they're really nice so I don't want to tell them about that. :<
