Anyone got any tips on finding out the animals name?

Hey, I was wondering, is there a difference between totem animals and spirit animals? Or are you verging more onto Daemons? Because I found this amazing video on YouTube that helped me find my spirit/totem animal ^^.

No, im NOT making this up. I went to this video after listening to a thunderstorm, and imagined my 'safe' place, in the woods while its raining. I saw this white wolf standing in the rain, its head lifted and it was just staring at me. It looked Like it knew why I was here. I saw this door and I opened it and went through it, and came put into a meadow. The sun was bright, and the woods around was green - it was spring, also the season of the place I first imagined (The raining scene)
This white wolf approached me, and I could see every detail on it. Its eyes were a beautiful amber color, and its pelt completely white. This wolf was about up to my stomach, rather large for a wolf. I asked it if it was my spirit animal and it just lifted its head up higher and stared at me.
Then we were laying, The wolf was curled around me and I had my hand wrapped around some of its fur. It still was silent, and just watched me. I could still hear rain, and I could FEEL the wolf's fur.

Could someone who has found their spirit animal & are close to them ask if this wolf is mine ? Or is that possible. Maybe even ask what this wolfs name is? Or do I have to do that myself..?

It's yours alone. You have to ask it questions. Do not take it as is. Ask it if it is your SA, what it is there to teach you, etc. And yes, they are already named, so you just have to ask what it's name is.

Meh. I am having no luck. I suppose I cant clear my mind enough, or really think of a place to be...

Or maybe my spirit animal is like a bug or something and im just not seeing it xD

My spirit animal's a bug! o3o He's a five foot tall tarantula, but he can be the size of a normal one.

I have been stalking this topic for 455 pages! I'm such an extreme stalker.

I thought of a name for my shadow guide because he doesn't have one yet. He's now called Veery! I don't know how I thought of that, but he seems to like it a lot more than the other names I thought of for him XD

try bonding with it. Give it gifts (simple Thank you for coming counts as a gift) visit alot. complimant them.. idk anything to build a stronger friendship

You got any tips on how to not let your own thoughts control the situation?

Like, what If I offer the wolf a gift & I make myself think she/he takes it..?
