How old are you? (this question is optional): 20
You've been a member for how long: I signed up 24 september 2008. But I adopted my first pet in august 08...
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: Normally at least 3 hours a day. Until I can't think of anything left for me to do here ;) But I have the time to be here more often.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Of course. I understand that new members can't know everything here and could use some help. And I wouldn't say those questions are stupid. If someone doesn't know anything, he or she should ask to learn :)
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I think it's great to have a "team" which cares for new members. I dislike people who think they're better because they're here for a longer time, or people which always use words like "n00bs" and speak condescending about or even to new members. I want to stop that and I hope it will help a lot that new members always know where they can ask their random questions. As I consider myself to be patient and nice I think I would fit in this team. I could also help German speaking members to translate something or just help them if they can't ask other members in English. (I hope my English is good enough to join a team). I would also see this "job" as a chance for me to learn a little more about the "moderator-job".
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: No.
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: The chickensmoothie instructors/teachers/tutors. anything like that maybe? :D

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: All day, almost every day
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes

You've been a member for how long: *goes to profile to check* Okay. Here we are. July 11th 2009.
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: Everyday, for hours. I feel unfulfilled if I do not get on CS.
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: I love answering people's questions =)
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: On the 18th I ended up with a Tribal and a UR and ever since then I've felt like because I'm so blessed to have ended up with those I should be helping other people who aren't so lucky. I've been kinda wanting to figure out a way to help people on here but I don't really have enough pets to do give-aways and such... I tried an adoption center for a while and that was okay but I really wanted to help people who NEEDED the pets while some of the people adopting were just old members who wanted more pets for their hoard and such.
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Well, I'm a mod on my own website. I only have about 9 members or so that get on often though. So basically I occasionally send warnings and such if someone posts a swear word and that's about the extent of it. Oh and I was a mod on someone else's site too but their's is inactive now.
http://starcatsrp.webs.com/
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: Hmm... "The Welcome Committee"? I'm so creative... Lolz not. Greeters? Welcomers? Hmm... My creativity seems to be lacking today.

Note: I have recently received a warning for posting accusations on the forum that someone was a scammer.
I probably shouldn't have posted that but well.. The person had a WHOLE bunch of URs and rares and I talked to more then one person through PMs who told me that she was like the most famous scammer on CS and that she'd scammed a WHOLE bunch of Newbies out of their URs on the 18th because they didn't know how much it was worth.
And then I sent in a report to the admins and they didn't even DO anything about it. And I'm certain I'm not the only one who has reported her.
Guess I shouldn't have posted accusing her. Wasn't really any of my business anyways I suppose... :? Not like she's ever scammed me or anything. It just seems like... Idk, wrong that she was getting away with that.
But maybe she wasn't a scammer. Maybe I'm entirely wrong and I should just not mess with something that isn't any of my business.

Anyways, I understand that I probably won't be made a newbie-helper but I thought I'd apply.

How old are you? (this question is optional): 11 =3
You've been a member for how long: i joined in October 2008, so about 1 year and 3 months or so...
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: In average day? about 5 hours =3
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: I know CS well enough to help newbies..
I know alot about rarities, and about CS forum, since i spend alot of time here.
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes =3
I have a 5 year old sister, who's asking so stupid questions that if i were someone else, i would die.. But i'm ready to answer them... All of them
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I love Chickensmoothie, and I've got alot of friends from here.
I see a lot of newbies being ripped off by tradeing two cummons/uncommons for the 18th december pets, and i think It's just cruel... I really want to help. I remember, when i was a newbie, i saw someone a bunch of beautiful dogs, so i made a topic and asked if anyone was willing to trade with me. Then, about 20 people answered and gave the pets to me for free..
Now, when i saw a topic when a newbie asked for star rats, nobody answered because sublime is trading very rares for star rats and everyone wanted a very rare. So they wouldn't care to stop by and give the poor human a single rat..

It's cruel...
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Yes i have, but the site is in Estonian, so you wouldn't understand a word what we're saying.. Besides, when i discovered CS, i kinda quit from the forums, because i didn't have time... Two months later, the site was deleted.
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: Umm...
Maybe "Professional Newbie Hugger" xD
No-No... Just kidding...
I really have no idea =/

EDIT: Omg.. It's kinda out of topic but yeah... the person who posted before me, joined exactly one day after me OwO

Sorry if i'm spamming or something...

How old are you? (this question is optional): 13
You've been a member for how long: Umm.... Since August 29th of 2008, I believe
How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: Lots of time!! Okay, okay; I'm guilty of being obsessed. Is that so much to ask? :3
Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes! Like I said, I have been here for over a YEAR. Sure, I left from March to late July of 2009, or something like that, but, other than that, I have been here FOREVER! :D
Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes.
Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I love to help people. I'm kind and considerate, and I have been known to give free pets to a couple of different people. I love to help, and I honestly don't care about any "benefits" other than making myself feel good, because I can help people. :)
Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: Well, yes; but I never actually got to moderate anything (I only had my position for a few days), and then the owner changed the site and the Junior Moderator position went away somehow. XD Also a Pokemon forum I moderated, which I lost the link to.... Eep, sorry!
Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: Hmm.... Newbie-Helper may sound kinda offensive to some people.... How about, 'The Front Desk'; 'The Check-In Lobby'; (for forum names....? Lol, Idk XD).... Or, how about "Welcome Helpers"? XD Lost my creativity sparks this morning, sorry. XD

I hope you'll consider me, Tess! ^.^;
Feeling a bit down? Want a free pet? You may pick one pet from this group here :>)

Howling ghosts they reappear
In mountains that are stacked with fear
But you're a king and I'm a lionheart

And in the sea that's painted black,
Creatures lurk below the deck
But you're the king and I'm a lionheart

How old are you? (this question is optional): I will be 18 next Tuesday.

You've been a member for how long: Since June 2009.

How much time do you spend on CS in the average day/week?: Anywhere from 7 to 12 hours a day. Although I'm not posting during some of this time, I am still monitoring the forum in case I see any threads that interest me or any threads that I can lend a helping hand to the poster in.

Do you feel you know CS well enough to answer all the common questions?: Yes. After I joined, I spent the rest of June and a lot of July doing nothing but browsing the forum (and occasionally posting in the Free Adoptions board ^^") so that I would learn everything I needed to know. I also always read every thread posted in the CS Suggestions and Problems board in case there is something I don't know.

Do you have the patience to deal with stupid questions being asked over and over?: Yes. I tend to be a very patient person. When I joined, I had a lot of questions about this site and most new members have those same ones. It only takes a minute out of my time to answer those questions (such as "What is a PPS?") or redirect a member to another thread, but it saves newbies a lot of time. C:

Why do you want to be a newbie-helper?: I truly love answering questions and helping out. Usually when I see someone who is confused, I encourage him/her to PM me questions. However, I would like newbies to know that they are always free to PM me, even if I haven't specifically told them that. Even if I don't get chosen, I'll still keep helping newbies anyways. ^^

Have you ever had moderating experience on any forums if so please post a link: I have, but that was about five years ago, so they're probably all dead by now...

Do you have any suggestions for the team name (instead of 'Newbie-Helper') xD ?: Actually, out of all the suggested names so far, I think "Newbie-Helper" sounds the best. I'm sure we could think of plenty of cool sounding names, but we need to make sure that newbies will understand that they can come to these people for help. We don't want to confuse them. xD
