In my friends baptist church, they passed around juice (instead of wine) and crackers. I couldn't have any because they said you neesed to be baptized, and I am not....can you tell me why this is?
I wouldn't think you'd need to be baptized to go to heaven, but I heard this somewhere. Can you guys help explain? Thanks

I'm Baptist and everyone at our church is included with everything whether it newcomers or not! I don't understand why you would need to be baptized to drink some juice at communion... It's thanking the lord for what he's done.
You do not need to be baptized to go to heaven, it's just being dunked in some water. But it is a celebration for becoming a Christian! I got baptized when I was 11 I think and I thought it was really fun, nothing changed about me and I had already accepted Jesus into my life.
All you need to do to go to heaven is know that Jesus died on the cross for your sins to be automatically forgiven from the past, present, and future.
agreed. Amen.
That's great that you enjoyed your baptism c: I love Jesus! <3

I will be praying for your friend. It is really hard to find jobs these days, but with God everything is possible. :3
Hello! I recently rejoined after quitting a couple years ago and have a long wish list. Please don't hesitate to send a trade.

Hello once again. My mom has finally gotten a job, and so we are preparing to move at last. It will still take at least another two weeks though. I think this is the path God has for us, but please pray for us nonetheless. My bro and I also will need to find jobs. And I would like to thank you all for prayers and support <3
I will keep you all in my prayers as well.
Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
-Matthew 5: 4
I never blamed you . . . not once.

Well, I don't know if this will be helpful for you, but I have been in a similar situation. I took a friend of mine to church once, and I think she got saved--at least she went through the process and all, but if she really did, it's between her and God.
Anyway, my point is that you should just keep praying for her and show her God's love. Keep encouraging her and trying to more involved, but don't be demanding or forceful about it. It might drive her away more. I don't know if you're situation was similar to my own, but I just had to pray for my friends and continue to love and support them in spite of their unwillingness to acknowledge or follow God.
Staying close to her is a definite way of showing how much God loves her. It will take time, but perhaps this will draw her closer to God indirectly. I'm not saying it's guaranteed, but give it some time. Continue to invite her to church or things of the like. Just be gentle about it. Maybe she will grow closer to God when she sees God's love through you <3
