I can easily turn your statement around and say I feel offended that there's a chistian thread on here. Not everyone believes in one faith. As has been said by many speakers and intellectuals over the years: the faith you are born into and follow has more to do with location than your own way of thinking. You were born Christian, I presume? There, the only difference between you and I is that I didn't find my faith in the teachings of the Testaments, as Christians do.

I am a follower of Wicca, and I'm fine with admitting it. I'm also gay. Two simple reasons that define who I am, and your church, most often than not, hates me for it. The whole faith was designed to keep people in order, that's all most sole God religions (Judaism, Islam, Christianity) really are.

Dear, most people I know who are agnostic, atheist, or any other smaller religion out there, were Christian at one point in their lives. I had the religion shoved down my throat for the entirety of my life until I was fourteen, and had the opportunity to pursue and find a religion that suited my beliefs best. I am a follower of the Wicca ways, and I turned my back on Christianity because of how ridiculous it seemed to me, personally.

As was said by a famous human being: "I like your Christ, but I don't like your Christians." The idea behind peace and love in shrouded by the teachings of hate and abominations.

Acutally, I anyway have been to church before with my freind who is Christian. It dosent change the fact that I am an atheist O.o

But I agree with you guys. I couldn't really put it any better then that.

Magic Thief- Atheist
Yo this account is dead and if a mod sees this I would very much like it to be deleted since I honestly hate my memories from here and don't like knowing that I am still here in a way.

Exactly. I'm scarred for life because of a church, my grandparents were trying to convert me when was 8 or something by taking me to their Christian church- I hated it. Boring music, 15 old people shushing me when I breathed too loudly (no joke), tons of old people, all gray and dull...

And then there's my best friend's church which is really fun, but I'm still not going to convert.

Personally, I'm not so sure what I am exactly. But, I'll just say that for a belief sort-of-thing, I believe in what the Native Americans did. You know, like, Mother Earth, the Animal Spirits, Spirits of nature, and etc. I don't really know what to call it, and I don't think it's a religion... more like a belief. Anyway, yeah.
