this is kind of cool! i met one of my now best friends while working together at Wendy's. It was also his first job, The Cure was his favorite band, and he's also an Aquarius! Weird but fun coincidence :^) If you meet a Bowie fan there then it's meant to be!

I work part-time at IKEA’s Smaland right now! It’s a free one hour daycare inside IKEA. I love playing with the kids a lot and it’s overall a very chill and laidback job that pays well. I would recommend anyone to work at IKEA. I’m looking for a full-time job though, preferably in an office somewhere doing clerical or administrative work. Let’s hope I get something soon! <3

Currently, I work at a food truck located outside of a brewery! Sometimes "food-related" jobs are hit or miss, but we are a small business and I could not ask for more understanding and kind bosses. I am still in school and have two certifications and an associate's so I am planning on leaving soon and finding a career where I can work with those who have mental health issues. (:

I work at a hospice! My title is Wayfinder, and if you're wondering "what the heck does a Wayfinder do?" well, the answer is that it changes a LOT day by day. My main job is to be a support system to family members of patients - they may have small requests or questions that take time away from the nurses to do their jobs caring for the patients, and that's where I come in a lot. I also do a lot of things that slip in between the cracks though, small jobs that take a lot of time that the nurses, doctors, and social workers don't really have, such as putting contact and insurance information in patient charts, putting together admission and death packets (paperwork, lots of it), and putting together patient charts when they first arrive.
I really love my job. I work with amazing people and experience things that most people my age don't get to.
I wish I could talk to you.

I have a job chances are you've never heard of and won't recognize!
I am a Hippotherapy assistant. I help children with challenges ride horses and provide a safety line and teaching resource for kids who need it. I absolutely LOVE my current job more than I ever loved game development, though I did love genetics a bit more.
I also run not one, but two small businesses: I do sewing, and I do model customization. I'm hoping to combine these two really soon!

I work as an emergency room nurse in a level 1 trauma center (that means we get the really really bad injuries). It's an amazing hospital, but there is a lot of violence and a lack of public resources in that area of the city, so there are a lot of days where we feel like we're running ourselves thin. Yes, I have seen some crazy things and have some crazy stories (almost on the daily). It's a very demanding and stressful job, but it's really rewarding, and the teamwork and relationships I have with my coworkers makes everything 10000x better. I'm very proud of what I do, and I'm glad to be able to help out a community that really needs it.
