Do you own a fursuit: I do actually of one of my male sonas! Just a partial for now, but I'm planning on getting a body suit sometime next year! I also used to have a full digi suit, but sold it and the character a few years back (which I now regret doing, but do hope he is being well loved at least; I still have pictures and the initial picture taken by the suit makers)
If so have any pictures: I do!

Fave thing about the Fandom: I've honestly just always loved the art, creativity, and sense of community.

ireally dont agree with this. acetone can eat away and melt the fur fibers making it so much worst

Thanks for the insight, I genuinely didn't mean any harm with my suggestion, it's just something I heard suggested at a panel once by a maker who was very confident with the technique. So sorry for the confusion!

It’s fine. It’s honestly a method I don’t know why any maker would recommend to anyone. Especially newer makers. Acetone is a very harsh chemical so unless you have years of pratice and what not it shouldn’t just be recommended.
Also not to sound mean. But not ever suit maker has great tip and tricks even at pannels. I have a local suit maker who sometimes is in the fursuit maker pannel at are local con. And there practices are not the best. Fursuit making definitely a learning experience and one that asking and looking up multiple sorces is the best way to learn.

Maybe not just a question for fursuit makers (anyone is welcome to comment!) but I made this base for an impulse 24hour build challenge- and I have an important decision to make!

So I want to make a bear suit- and I at trying to choose between
1: A “cute” Freddy fazbear
2: some salmon bear hybrid

Just curious to what people think! This is like the 7th suit I’ve made, so I really don’t mind either way!
