Not gonna get into my fandom hyperfixations because there's simply too much to say so I'll go with one I don't normally talk about instead. I have had a hyperfixation on sifting through gravel and driveways for fossils and pretty rocks since I was very young and it's still going strong. It's funny because if we're outside somewhere and you can't find me then chances are I'm bent over a driveway perusing the rocks with some already in my pockets. I've found many small fossils through the years and collect them in a large medicine bottle so I don't lose them. I've always been OBSESSED with fossils and paleontology in general. 🥰

Pokemon card collecting. I've gotten a small Vault X binder and put a bunch of cards in it but I'm still waiting on more to arrive in the mail...

sephiroth from ffvii. i adore him sm its embarrassing but i cant help it, like "oh yeah my special interest is a homicidal man who wants to be a god." it used to be the animal crossing series for the longest time, and then it was jigglypuff from pokemon (hence my username), but then sephiroth was added as a dlc character in smash ultimate and it went from there

idk if i have hyperfixations, i tend to switch through really quickly bc of my bpd
right now i'm trying to get back into drawing but it's so hard @_@

i am autistic but idk what classes as a special interest or if i even have any tbh ^^;
i don't research or info dump afaik but here's some things i'm into:

- alternative fashion, specifically kawaii styles but i love edgier styles too
- markiplier
- jerma
- sims console games, sims 1 & sims 2
- baking, mostly cookies & cakes!
- cats
- plushies
- sanrio ALWAYS!! i got my first tattoo last year, it's cinnamoroll and i'm in love with it

My oldest is about my old OC Dragoness and human duo (even if it pauses, it always returns, and never looses on importance during those breaks)
currently I can't stop thinking about:
-Baldur's Gate 3 (since December 2023)
-and practisitng "I Want to Live" on guitar (picked it up in November)

but overall, with ADHD in the mix I can have short episodic hiperfixations when I watch a lot on some random subject or YT channel (last few-days-long one was Clint's reptiles content, but it's also part of how I've always been into reptiles), but I still always have something more or less longterm present in the background as well

- Animals in general
- Paleontology (This is different from animals because it also includes some geology and speculation)
- Pets/livestock (Also different from my general animal fixation and is more intense, including; breeds, care, colorations, and genetics)
- Gems/Minerals/Shiny things (Like a dragon lording over their treasures)
- Specimens (Different from my animal fixation. More an art form or a nightmare depending)

Most of it circles back to the animal fixation that started it all but they absolutely vibe differently.
I have some minor hyperfixations but these are the serious ones that I can do an info dump/recall on or have hoards related to them.
