I love it but it is such a humbling experience it literally feels like you have 0 aura points sometimes 😵‍💫
I love anesthesiology as a specialty, but my relationship with training is more complicated. I'm tired, sometimes anxious, and I don't enjoy the toxic aspects of the environment. Sometimes it's hard to separate how I feel about the job from how I feel about the conditions I'm working in. When I look past the exhaustion and stress, though, I still find the specialty itself interesting, rewarding, and something I can see myself doing long-term. I am looking forward to becoming a specialist/attending

Certified phlebotomist here!!
I absolutely love what I do and I'm so glad I got into it.
I've been doing it for a little over a year and it's very rewarding despite the occasional struggle.
Every person is different(character wise, vein wise and age wise) and you kinda have to tweak your approach for each patient.
It's a smaller wellness clinic that I'm in so I've gotten to know quite a bit of patients over time and it's fun getting to see people return to get routine bloodwork. I can see myself doing it for a while, but I'm still deciding whether I want to move up to work in the laboratory or do the radiology path. I work closely with both departments and just shadowing when there's down time-I find it very neat in both career paths.
