Omg a hyperfixations thread !!

I've recently been hyperfixated with Animal Crossing New Horizons, I went from like 1000 bells in my savings to 15.5 mil bells and a 5 star island, so i guess that's good? I honestly want to try to stick with it as it's SO fun and the community is amazing!

i've been really into the game Twisted Wonderland! well mostly the characters and ship,,, sadly my favorite ship is a rarepair so its hard to find any content of them

My Revue Starlight hyperfixation is still going strong… I love the silly lesbian theatre kid swordfight anime I could ramble about it for hours

I fixated on Falsettos recently and it's been the only thing I've been able to think about for the past few months now. That isn't a vent, just a fact, I'm still in love with that dumb musical and it sucks that I didn't get to see it, but at least the tour is still going ^^

Ooh! Recently it's been dinosaurs for me. I'm definitely an animal person and dinosaurs are considered animals so the switch wasn't too far. I just find them super interesting despite the research changing every other minute.

Poor Spinosaurus. He's had like 100 makeovers.

Brontosaurus is my personal favorite, I was super happy finding out that a 2015 paper brought it back as a valid genus. I even have a little brontosaurus stuffed animal that sits next to me on the couch.

oh man theres to many to count, if the things on my desk are anything to go by, but at the moment my brain decided to go back to Batman. Ironicly not because of the new movie. I just love his stories and all the ones that come out of Gothem.

Some other hyperfixations are mushrooms, rocks, snails, and the shows I'm watching at the given time. The ironic thing with the mushrooms is that I don't like to eat them, just their vibes are immaculate. Fungi are just fascinating and I love learning about them. I have 3 separate books to identify them, as well as an Instagram dedicated to taking pictures of fungi I find while out hiking. So happy its spring again cause that means its almost mushroom season! I also love plants, and I have a ton of houseplants/ succulents. I've got a grow light now so they're doing better than ever! Can never have enough succulents hahaha.

Last year I decided to read MHA (yes I know I'm late akshdjs) because I was interested in the developments from the most recent chapters and I wanted to learn more. I haven't looked back since!

My special interest centers around one specific character who I am embarrassed to admit is my favorite bc he's kinda cringe lmao (I mean this in the most loving way). I could go on and on about him. My sketchbooks are now 90% pics of him because he's so fun to draw lol.

I don't think I've felt so passionate for anything like this since my Haikyuu phase.
