Sorry for the spam of questions! I got my friend into being a furry. She wants a suit NOW and I don’t know where to tell her to get it. Her family doesn’t have much money either so please help!

First off, good job and good luck! Ok now:
So, even though I will not be able to get a fursuit any time soon, I have been doing research on fursuit makers! I found two that are currently open for commissions:
AstroAntlers (Fullsuit min. 2500$ -- Mini partial min. 1600)
2 Stupid Furs They have a give away and premades here (Fullsuit min. 1,800$ -- Mini Parial min. 800$)
If you are looking for a premade, I suggest here. If you are short on money, I would make one yourself. They are (sometimes) cheaper to make yourself, but not always. If you commission one from someone else, you almost always need a reference sheet so that is an extra ~15$, or you can draw it yourself. The more detail on a fursona or other character, the more expensive the suit.

i want to make a fursuit of my main fursona (Toast) but im worried that her design is too complex and has too many colors to be a good pick for a fursuit
should i simplify her design or is it good as is?

I feel like that is up to you! If you want to change it go right ahead! But if you commission it I feel like with the design you might have to pay more sooo...up to you.

I feel like her design is more on the simple side actually, I think you should be fine!

I personally don’t think they’re too complex at all. Yeah, there’s a good few colors, but it’s not a 10+ color thing. I don’t know if you plan on purchasing a full suit, pieces at a time, etc, but I don’t see it being a huge deal. You don’t have a lot of small patterns, just colors. Colors normally will up cost cause a maker will have like -starting price- +cost for every color after x amount

Fave thing about the Fandom: It's basically brought me out of my shell and used to be a really friendly place. The fandom itself currently is a bushfire so for current terms, I just like seeing other artists share a common interest.
