A few minutes ago my dad got it, he just turned the computer off and on again and the notice was gone. But a trojan had gotten into our computer, and I got a bit frightened, but our antivirus had it cleared up literally within a minute. it said the alert level was severe but even then it was gone in a flash. So my message to you guys is,
if you have a reliable antivirus on your computer ready to go if you get the virus, then the virus is virtually harmless. It'll be gone pretty quickly if you do a quick scan.
P.S. The antivirus that got to work when we got the virus was Microsoft Forefront Client Security fyi. c:
Not always. Some viruses are sophisticated enough to disable antivirus software. And yep, it is through Java applets and whatnot which are on many sites. Specifically, suspicious sites/links through email.
The new Java update is not harmful(Java did not add a virus into it. If you download an update not from java.com, then it could be malicious), but still is vulnerable.

Okay, so I have completely uninstalled it, and reinstalled it.
Still getting the same error as before.

I am using Safari on a Mac that supports Java 7 (10.7.5)
Why am I still having this problem?
It works on my Firefox, it's just laggy,
I rather be able to use it on my Safari again...

I think I have got the latest version of Java.
I dolowded it I the new year, maybe abot the 9th Jan?
I got a tablet for Christmas but returned it cuz it was playing up and got a laptop instead.
it has windows 8!
And oekaki works fine for me. No problems!
I told my dad to un-install Java for me, and he said that my laptop wont get it cuz its new and has a new Java. ( My dad used to be a computer fixer guy)
So I think im good
