How's everyone doing con wise?

All of my cons I've had planned were are canceled I'm hoping Anthro SouthEast in October won't be canceled. It's the last one I have left.

And what horrible timing for me. I JUST got my full suit finished and I was SO excited to go to cons wearing it

I'm hoping the same thing, they just cancelled Megaplex a few days ago. Last year's ASE was so fun and I definitely want to go again

I'm planning on going to Denfur in August, fingers crossed. It would be my first furry convention and I'd be going with someone particularly special to me as well. I'm just reeeeaaaly hoping for the best ;u;

If flights are still cheap come late October I might see if I can go to BLFC. I’ve always wanted to go to that con but flying is expensive lmao. Otherwise I’m thinking maybe MFF and/or Aquatifur. I like doing atleast 2 cons a year(I did FurSquared in February already) so one of these better happen.

the usual PCD has become CCD (cancelled con depression) as all of your planned cons are slowly ripped away

I'm hoping for anthro southeast too but a con near it both in location and time (mephit fur meet, an early september con) also got cancelled so my hopes aren't high lol.

i do finally have a suit i ordered late last year in! it's a partial (no feetpaws tho) pic of me wearing it



maker is crinsy productions on etsy and i would recommend them to anyone!! they work fast, the suit is SUPER good (and breathable!! holy crap it's got such good airflow), communication was great. honestly best experience i've ever had commissioning something.

that being said can anyone recommend someone who makes good feetpaws? preferably realistic

I'm not a furry why am I even on this thread? but that's an awesome looking suit! I love the more realistic looking fursuits (and quadsuits, those are phenomenal).

As far as cons go, I'd seriously reconsider going even if they aren't cancelled. The second wave of COVID-19 is most likely happening in the fall and cons are basically a giant germ magnet.

My head finally came! This is my first fursuit head (and is setting up to be my first fursuit in general) ever. His name is Ryan, he's supposed to be a rat but i've transformed his species into a possum.

Once i get handpaws and a tail he'll be fully finished!

There are many examples of being using things like fleece for a fursuit! Especially for reptile suits or hairless cats/dogs, etc

So Wad the cat is just about finished! Just gotta finish his other paw! He features a moving jaw, 3d waterproof printed eyes/irises, and magnetic eyelids for 2 other expressions (angry not shown).

I’m now working on my 2.0 version of Disrep. She’s like... 10 different animals, but mostly unicorn griffin for the head. She’ll have the same features + green LEDs in the eyes! Her mouth is lined and I’m waiting on fabric, more foam for carving, and a new glue gun (mine is very old and started smoking a lot hahah) Her horn is being shipped soon, too! He also has 2 tongues. One is long and has a magnet on the other end to connect to spots on his muzzle!

As for cons, I wanted to go to Aquatifur in October as my first con, but I don’t think anyone can predict what will come of that. Even if it opens, I probably won’t go since I’ve heard things might get worse again in flu season.
