I'm outside in the middle of the night with nothing but pajamas, a hoodie, a flashlight, my drink, and my phone. Is the neighbor dogs. It's really peaceful right now. I can see Orion and the Big Dipper from here. I've lost the constellation I made (the Hunter and his Dogs) but the clouds are pretty. My nose and head are clearing up. I dont feel so... full, so overwhelmed. I hear noises and get scared but only for a second. I've lived in this house. On this cellar. In these woods. The door is 10 feet away. The dog is just a bit further. I'm safe.

Clinicals the day before exams has to be illegal lol... Literally been studying for 9 hrs straight right after I'm exhuasted 🥺

Didn't expect my prof to assign me to Peds ED (only a few selected get the chance to during their normal peds rotation) today but man it was an interesting day lol. Was going to straight cath a little guy cuz his problem was that he wasn't urinating at all but he ended up being way more scared of the straight cath that he ended up going (!!) while I was on my last iodine swab .... guess who ended up in splash zone 😭 😭 😭 (at least not my face but girlllllll I was like 🥹🥹🥹). Luckily it only got on my forearm... Anyway def not how I was expecting him to go but it worked out either wayt ig... (but at what cost!!🥲). Then there was an actual code g this mans was literally tearing down the whole room down punching the walls computers throwing chairs and the phone at staff mbmrs... security was litrally on him lol. anytway got to see my 1st status epi pt tday, the way he kept seizing for minutes nonstop made me so sad he was just a small child 🥺. Also tried (unsuccessfully) to get an IV in another kiddo but bro's veins were soo small I felt bad for him cuz he was anxious n screamng..i awas litearlly digign in his arm for a good minute D: I really did enjoy my overal experience tho we were assigned to the fast track room and my preceptor let me do most of the charting and phys assessments !!! itwas cool :)🤙 Love the ED pace tbh
