I can’t believe I’m writing here, but here goes. There’s a boy, who I met four years ago when I arrived at my new school. Halfway through that year, I was told that he liked me. I was still at an age where this disgusted me, and I was not very nice to him after that. (I wasn’t mean, just…not nice) But after the year had passed, I began to like him back. The second year, I kept up pretending that I didn’t like him. That was also the year he sent me one of those school fundraiser valentines. The third year…that’s the year we got really close. We both joined an academic after (and before) school activity, which was part of how we got so close in the first place. He would do the sweetest things for me, like getting me chips, and also the not-so-sweet things, such as eating my lunch. (Not that I minded) He even asked to kiss me once, which I declined, (which, of course, I greatly regret) because there were three other people in the car and a parent. The activity was a study group for this competition, and the day of our competition was the day of our first hug. By that time, I considered him one of my best friends. We would email each other back and forth (since I couldn’t text). Have you ever heard of a five-page conversation on email? On Valentine’s Day, he brought me chocolates and a stuffed animal. <3 On the day of track finals, just as I am about to leave, I hear and “wait!” and he’s there, saying good luck and giving me a hug. And now it’s the fourth year, the year we graduate. (From which grade, I will not say, obviously) We are still friends, but something’s different now. In the beginning of the year, we chatted almost every day to eleven or later, and sometimes when we looked at each other at the same time, he would smile and make a heart sign with his hands, (The whole class knew that he liked me somehow and he obviously knows that I know that he likes me) but things are changing now. I don’t know how, I can just feel a difference. It could be the new girl who came this year, which is my strong suspicion. Once, she was leaving and (our class always hugs goodbye) he gave her a hug and say “Text me later, ok?” He hugged her often, but not much lately. I guess not being one of the popular kids doesn’t help either, because they go places together in ‘that group’. It hurt when he confided in her instead of me, so I decided to try and stop liking him. So I avoided him and when I couldn’t, I was guarded and neutral. I don’t know if I was too obvious or he knows me too well, but he could tell something was off. He confronted me and I told him nothing was wrong, and then I got home and broke, because it was too hard. (I had lasted less than a week, show how strong I am :P) So things have come back to somewhat normal. Today I wore his left shoe and he wore mine. (I don’t know why, we do crazy things like that) Yesterday, he sat behind me and braided my hair. I wish I had been braver, but I wasn’t’. I am getting braver now, but it seems like too little too late. I’m stuck and completely unsure now, and I just wanted to relieve myself. It feels pretty nice, actually. Advice is wanted, but I’m not desperate for it.

If you want to date him, why not ask. Say, 'Hey, we're practically dating, why not make it official?' ;)
As you said, probably some bravery could be helpful there.
So, um ... Yeah, do what I quoted myself. That could help. Also, maybe do what it says on the first page.

• Keep your hands by your sides; don't fiddle.
• Remember to breath; your breaks in your speaking are shorter than you think.
• It's not the end of the world if he says no. If he rejects you, take a deep breath, say "Oh, alright. Thanks anyways," smile, and walk off. Staying cool in rejection is a sure-fire way to keep them running. In your direction. It's sexy to be fine with rejection, and can in fact make him feel a bit unwanted. It might make him feel like he's not worth being sad about being rejected by, so he might change his mind and say yes.
  
  You know how I said it was sexy? It really is. Imagine if you just told someone you didn't like them the way they did you and so you tell them no for a date, would you prefer them saying: "Oh.. Um... Ok... Uh.. Bye.." and awkwardly running off with their eyes tearing up, or would you prefer the one who looks like they know what they're doing when speaking, and after facing utter rejection says: "Oh, alright. Thanks anyways," smiles, and struts away? Much sexier. It'll make you desirable, trust me.

Our marching band as something called the band dance. Guys have to go, march up to a girl, do a 90 degree bow from the waist (if possible), and ask the girl out. I want that to happen to me.

Well.... OK, so a few days ago I went on a date with the guy I have liked for a long time. It went very well! We held hands and talked a lot and had a lot of fun. But it also at the same time, crashed. Like, apparently, my best friend had no clue that we were going on a date THAT DAY and right at THAT TIME!! And guess what? She was so happendly there, and siktting a few rows behind us in the theater.... So she was texting me evey few seconds asking how the date was going, and thretning him that if he toutches me she will cut off his hand. She basicly spoiled the date. But I dont mind. I still had fun...

So here is the problem. Im duying to go on another date with him but I dont know how to bring it up casually, coz he is probably stil lrecovering from our first fdate... Help?

Ok so today he admitted he was going to ask someone to the dance.
So we talked alot today and we planned on maybe going to a lazer tag place and yell at random people { xD yes I know strange}
So we were talking and then he went to play basketball and a ball rolled over to me and my friend dared me to throw the ball at his head. I did and he would usally yell at me and stuff but it hit his head and he laughed saying I had good aim. C:
Then whenever I look at him he is looking at me and he smiles and waves.

I always say what I did with my crush and stuff like that when I post here, but I've never described him, So here is his description for you who were curious if any of you:

He is my height, super cute and funny! One of the only people I can ever be myself around completely, I never feel bad about something dumb I did or said for more then five minutes (That's huge for me, as even around family I feel bad for months, I guess I'm paranoid sometimes) Because I know he won't hold it against me. He is all out country, rides Horses a lot (Barrel Racing etc) and has a lot of knives and some guns (he showed me how to shoot a 357 Pistol), because he is so country and homeschooled (like me) some people tease him (I have the same problem) but I think he's awesome, I love it when he teases me even though if anyone else does I get slightly annoyed, I love it when he's around and don't know what to do when he's gone, I know it sounds dumb but really he's the only friend I see other then at Church down here.

Kinda an odd description and I skipped a little about him, but here's just some info on him. We share a lot of the same interests which is really neat!

Okay, here goes. I am in kinda a big dilema here.


Well, see, my crush who I have liked for over a year now has been acting lately like he likes me. Just before the holidays, which were three weeks ago, we started talking. Since then, there have only been two days where we haven't talked, and we have always talked, but not like this. But there is the other girl, called Laura, and my crush reallly likes her. She talks to me about him all the time for tips and stuff, because I have known him way longer then she has, and me and him are practically best friends. So, she likes him, and he likes her. Yet he won't ask her out, and when I asked him if he was going to ask her out, he said he had prioroties, and the other day he said to my my friend that he might, he might not.

But lately, just like the past few days, he has been acting weird. I don't really know how to explain it, but...well, he seemed...different? Well, normally we talk about random stuff, but at school yesterday all he said to me most of the day was " Can I play on your phone now?". And he didn't talk to laura either, I guess he just seems kinda quiet. And last night, I was in a group conversation with him and one of my best friends, and it was...the convo was just really bland...idk.


Anway, that is only a tiny dilema, here is the big dilema.

Oli.

Oli, is cute, and super smart. Oli also happens to be my best friends crush. Like major crush. But...I think I may like him. Yesterday, I was just doing my thing, talking to people, getting ready to go home, and because I was going home with my gran, I could be a little bit slower then usual, so I put my bag down, and did what I do most days. I (This is crazy, but I just love doing it) walked up to Oli's locker, and asked him if I could go through his locker. He said no, so then we had this conversation about why his locker is awesome. And then two other guys came over, who were Oli's friends, and we all had this argument about whether LJ's locker is better then oli's. But my locker is basically next to LJ's, and so, ofcourse Oli's is more interestnig.

So then one of his friends went away, and I talked to Oli for a bit more. But then his friend is just standing there looking at us talk, and he randomly blurts out " YOU GUYS SHOULD GO OUT!". I looked at him weirdly, and then kept talking to Oli.

Sometimes I see oli staring at 'us', which is mainly me and my friend who likes oli. I always tell her whenever he is, and she always tells me she doubts it, but lately, I don't think he has been staring at us. I think he has been staring at me. Yesterday ( which is initially when I started liking him, although, I think I have always had a secret 'thing for him' I looked up towards his direction, and saw he was looking at me.


So I think he may like me, for a few different reasons. But I defiantly donot want to like him because my freind likes him, and it wouldn't be fair. And anyway, I just recently went out with one of his good friends D:...

What do I do about oli? My friend says she is fine with it, but I know she is not.
