The base came from runaway studios, and so far I’ve made his eyes, eyebrows, teeth and horns(don’t have the pics of those). I’m waiting for my fur swatches to arrive too. My character’s name is Vincent because he is based around starry night

I don’t know of anything specifically I’m afraid- I’d check Etsy for anything, but if you don’t find anything, you can always commission someone! There are prop and all sorts of makers that love to take on custom requests. If you don’t find anything, looking for a maker is a fantastic idea! Or, if you’re a craft person, you can always try to tackle the project yourself!

Okay. So for my revamp, I’ve been planning for the last few days. I have thought about redoing the eyes, and maybe beak for mine to be a fine paper machete with paint and sealer. The claws will be a different challenge lol. My current ones are bearable. Anyway, any revamping tips? I know how it’s put together pretty well and the only trouble will be getting the current eyes out. If I revamp the beak any ideas on how I should attach it to the current base? I mean probably rip out what I have, and cut slits into the base to support it with glue. Any ideas will help!

This is very unsettling XD I’m planning on shopping this weekend for buckram, paint, and plastic for the eyes! I’m glad I got to rip a lot out because rent work on this head was anything but good

I do have a small problem though, I want a snow leopard fursuit but at the same time a dog one, I'm so torn cause I want both so bad. So my fursona keeps changing, I feel connected to both. ANyone have suggestions? <3

If you start to get hot, never be afraid to take off the mask and such. Overheating is a big problem with fursuits and not something to be handled lightly. Drink lots of water before and during too.
If you just want to get used to the fact that you likely will be sweating no matter what, when I got an old mask, I used to wear it around the house just to get used to the breathing, vision, and slight heat.

as mentioned above, youll want to get used to wearing it first. as a cross country runner, i was used to sweating and running around and being fun while sweating in horrible heat already lol. drink plenty of water in suit too!! i bring a couple water bottles and a long straw to a local convention i only stay at a few hours. i also have a mini handheld fan from a styrofoam ball game whered you blow the ball and keep it up. it has a very long handle and the fan is pointed towards the sky so its really nice!! its a life saver. ive also seen people use cooling packs on their bodies, but its not as necessary in partial and make you bulk out more than in fullsuit. you can get used to the heat by slowly taking longer and longer outings in hot weather. even in your backyard works. or just bounce on a trampoline or run around and it will happen quicker. slowly youll be more resistant to it. its like starting with 10 pound weights and training up to 70 pound weights.
