Yeah it happens with exposure to light and/or air. Especially light.
The foam I use even says it happens on the package

Hey guys! I have a couple of questions regarding fursuit making, specifically about fur! I recently saw someone saying "thank god ___'s fursuit head wasn't made with luxury shag." Is there a reason luxury shag is bad, i thought it was good to use? what fur should I use? also can someone help me find fur that matches this boy's colors? any help would be appreciated!

Honestly i’m not a furry or fan, but i have a ton of respect for fursuiters and such! I also love seeing all the beautiful fur suits

I've made and sold a few foam bases but I've never furred before, making a pattern is daunting haha.

Yessss this is the scariest part of making a fursuit for me. Especially because fur is so expensive and you have to make sure the fur direction is right

I made a base for my sister that's almost ready to fur and I'm kinda dreading it haha..
