We were having a party, and my great aunt was eating dessert. A piece fell into her lap and she didn't notice it until later. When she noticed it, she picked it up, said "What's this?" and ate it. I just burst out laughing.

Then this old guy walked by our table and started talking about Roosevelt and General Patton or something like that. He kept talking and talking, not knowing that no one was interested. My aunt (not my great aunt from the above comment) turned to my cousin with her hand over her face laughing. Then I burst out laughing again.

this was really awkward at the time but in hindsight it's kind of amusing.

last summer i was in china on a missions trip. one day, my friend and i were walking around downtown kunming and we stopped by a statue of ronald mcdonald to take some pictures. well, there was a photo shoot going on further down the street we were on. anyway, i was looking at the statue when i heard my friend call my name and tell me to turn around. i did and i found that the entire photo shoot (sans model, who was probably feeling a little upset) had upped and moved and was now taking pictures of me. like literally there were four or five photographers in my face. i gave them the best smile i could under the circumstances and then my friend and i flat-out ran away because wow it was really weird and awkward.

but now i can tell people that i once interrupted a photo shoot with my very presence.

when I was like four, my friend had a pet fashion show birthday party. so, I brought the only pets I had. two guppies named beyonce and jaws. so, I thought it meant which pet was the best looking. and you know, me being that awkward little girl that made everybody laugh, I thought my fish where pretty handsome. I dont exactly remember the colors, though, but by what my mom told me she said that I said they where handsome. so when I got there, I finally figured out what "pet fashion show" meant. my mom had been laughing the whole time, and I had no idea why. so when I got there, my friends where painting their dogs claws and their cats claws, and putting on little outfits my friend whose birthday party it was mom bought them. so I was standing there with a fish bowl (with a lid on it of course because they where my best friends, so I was told), looking at everyone. so when they where walking down the "runway" which actually was their driveway with a bunch of rugs on it, it was finally my turn. so, me being the girl that came up with ideas just crazy enough to work, my mom asked my friends mom if she had ant face paint. we painted my face like a tiger and I put on some of my friends clothes with a tiger on it and black pants and a sparkly necklace that would be a collar. so, I walked down the runway dressed as a tiger and my fishbowl in my hands. it turns up that with my thinking I actually won. but it was so funny because I couldn't dress fish.
